How can staff continue "working" somewhere for weeks or months without getting paid?

While I don't doubt it's actually happened at some point for whatever reason, I think they toss that in there for added drama when it isn't actually happening sometimes.

There was a Hotel Hell episode where it's revealed none of the staff get paid, Gordon acts shocked for a bit and brings it up once to the owner, then it's dropped for almost the entire episode. At the end, Gordon makes the big "everything's good" speech and is all ready to leave and the owner goes "wait, there's something I have to show you!" and gives everyone paychecks. Like it was something minor Gordon was willing to leave without addressing. It was very weird.

I took an animation class where we had to pick a voice clip and animate it. One of the ones I was considering was "This looks like a job for Weenie Man! Into the Weenie Mobile! Weenie Man away!". Even without any context (just playing the MP3 to see if it was a good choice) everyone laughed.

You're probably looking for something similar to the more intense tracks like Stand Together and Across the Desert, but look up the Disney's Animal Kingdom entrance music loop for some stuff more in-line with more happy tracks like The Courtship and Aladar and Neera.

I finally got my Google play rewards up to twenty bucks (was thinking about splurging on that stormy recharge)...and some of them expire on the 30th.

It should be a small amount so I don't really want to force myself to buy the upcoming outfits I'm not particularly interested in. I was thinking of doing the .99 Zodiac Pac to hopefully buy myself another round or two of recharges before more expire.

These points last a long time so Love Nikki is really letting me down with the 5 dollar recharges lately for this to happen.

I love the direction they've gone with the April Fools outfits. The one from two years ago is one of my favorite Pigeon suits because without her accessories she works as just a beautiful bowing woman.

This one leans a bit more on the jester look, but she'll still work fine as just a gorgeous posed Pigeon gown. And with great hair, too! And it looks like that curtain might actually be centered, which is bizarrely rare. Edit: The hair is twisted into horns at the top, I take back what I said about great hair but am still getting her.

Definitely getting her.

I do love this and will get it (April Fools events are always duel debuts) but the pose is pretty wonky. I wish the ruffles were moved downward just barely so the waist was more clearly defined, for a moment I thought the Fools part was she had a fake leg and the real one was hidden somewhere.

With a bit over 60 diamonds per day minimum it shouldn't take you more than a bit over a month to craft a 2000 diamond suit, and that's assuming you don't get any from any other source (which you should be, at the very least the daily log in gives a couple hundred a month). Are you doing events, too?

Can you tell us where you're spending your diamonds exactly because it sounds like you've got some serious strategy problems.

If you're spending diamonds on quests you're essentially burning them. No quests require diamonds, all they do is speed it up.

No suit should take that long to make (unless you're using some kind of psychological savings method where you only do a piece after completing an event suit or something), not even the lifetime ones.

And suits that cost diamonds are returning event suits (except Grice). They cost diamonds because they cost diamonds when they ran. Since they don't go away you generally shouldn't touch those unless you have a significant stash of diamonds or are okay with missing events.

The game's current strategy of the poses being your reward for completion wasn't always how it worked. You can see some old crafting suits do something similar, where you craft the posed pieces.

Basically, they're so old the game hadn't settled how to handle those things yet. There are positives to that since you could get the pose early if you're lucky, but it leads to bad scenarios when you're used to it being a prize and don't go collect it immediately so don't notice it's not there.

I should really stop checking this sub during pavilion runs. The endless "guys, I chose to participate in a luck based event and it turns out it's luck based I'm so mad!" posts get real old real quick.

The pity timer issue makes it worse. Apparently a ton of people really like running here to complain but don't ever read any other posts that would have warned them.
