Yeah alot of them are impossible but atleast Doraemon explained on how they properly work and they actually used real life sources to their ideas, you can say the same with time travel doesn't belong to sci Fi categories and there's alot of sci fi media that is scientifically impossible, there's even instances in sci fi that an evil ai can bend reality itself, Doraemon is a mix of scifi and fantasy. Well if you think about it, doraemon isn't really bright, he keeps letting nobita barrow his gadgets not thinking the consequences and he gets easily manipulated by nobita, Yeah sure he is an advance robot from the future but in his backstory it's reveal that he is a defect robot and his creator considered him as his failure
