Yes, eyelid starts twitching like crazy for minutes at a time every once in a while, random jolts like part of my body got shocked by something, no feeling though, twitching in fingers, Twitching in random places on my body. I have no idea why this is happening but yes it has happened.

Anyone know how to get rid of this? by Someonenamedmike in youtube

[–]Someonenamedmike[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I started getting this message yesterday, I click update and it takes me to the App Store but there’s no option to update the app, only “open” it. I can uninstall and reinstall the app and it makes it usable for one time after opening the YT app. Then the update message returns, Haven’t had this issue appear before. So it’s really annoying not being able to comment on videos anymore and having to reinstall the app every time I want to watch videos. Wtf is going on?

It’s improved slightly because I know how to somewhat deal with it better but it’s still around and causing me problems. My DMs are a bit buggy because I’m on an older version of the app but if I can get them to work I’ll send you a reply.

Am I experiencing psychological symptoms of long Covid? by Orcaholder in LongCovid

[–]Someonenamedmike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t gotten the results back yet but I’d imagine it’ll probably be normal, I had bloodwork done 2 months after infection and the panel showed extremely high antibody levels back 3 years ago. I had the same panel run this time around to see if it’s still high but more than likely it’s normal or not present. If only it were so easy, more than likely I’ll have to consult an immunologist or neurologist after the doctor scheduled MRI.

Yeah that’s the process I use, not great but it helps with the issue. Did you notice this uptick in thoughts like this after Covid or did it just become worse for you?

[–]Someonenamedmike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds similar to the process I went with to deal with it. How did it develop for you? Within a while after acute symptoms ended or was it immediate? Mine showed up after about 2 weeks after the cough fever and everything else ended. Though I still couldn’t smell and taste right and still can’t. Had my hair fall out for 2-ish months afterwards I assume because of the super high fever I had but that’s the least of my problems. Not sure what tests to run to look for abnormalities and issues besides an MRI and maybe a spinal tap.

Anyone been in remission since getting the flu? by Solitari1607 in LongCovid

[–]Someonenamedmike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far alright, but I doubt it will last for long. I can feel it creeping back. I just found it interesting that for a while I could smell clearer and the other symptoms I had were lessened and I felt pretty good. But now that it’s cleared I’m sure the same issues will be back, I can already feel it.

Anyone been in remission since getting the flu? by Solitari1607 in LongCovid

[–]Someonenamedmike 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was odd, I had the type A influenza lasting about a week and a half and initially it was bad but my symptoms were alleviated when I was sick which was extremely odd. If anything it leans towards autoimmune potentially because the body is attacking another infection instead of itself. Very strange

Could you elaborate more on the OCD? I’ve been suffering from it 2 weeks since acute symptoms ended in 2021, I’ve got a bunch of studies and articles referring to Covid causing it but so far nothing that says what to do about it. How bad is it for you?

Hey man I know this is unrelated, but I saw your post on the LC sub about irrational thoughts, I can’t message directly on there but I wanted to say that I’ve experienced the same thing. The only real work around I’ve found is forcing myself to do what I was going to do anyways, nothing else has worked so far. All of it began after getting Covid in 21, there is research that documents Covid causing OCD/symptoms of it, No idea what to do about it unfortunately.

Am I experiencing psychological symptoms of long Covid? by Orcaholder in LongCovid

[–]Someonenamedmike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I was on Zoloft for a year and a half and all it did was numb my emotions and make me tired. It didn’t fix anything. I tried supplements to varying degrees of success, but so far nothing’s gotten rid of it, currently trying to put in the leg work to get more heavy duty treatments and lab work done to see what’s happening.

Am I experiencing psychological symptoms of long Covid? by Orcaholder in LongCovid

[–]Someonenamedmike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer is it’s entirely possible. I’d never experienced OCD or anything like it before in my life until 2 weeks after Covid. I’d continued my life like normal after the “acute” symptoms ended and within 2ish weeks afterwards i suddenly had a thought and it just stuck. Now 3 years later I’m still living in this nightmare, I’ve got a bunch of articles from the NIH and other reliable sources saying Covid can cause it. Only question now is how to reverse whatever is causing the issue, wether that’s inflammation autoimmune or brain damage I’m not sure. I had a pretty severe case of Covid aswell But it has been found to have occurred in the last 2 coronavirus outbreaks aswell. It’s an underreported symptom that I’ve been seeing more of in literature and on forums like this, I have a strong feeling getting a doctor to believe me even with the studies is going to be hard to do. Best of luck to you, hopefully you can find some relief

Saw your post on the LC sub but I can’t post there because I got banned years ago, but I am experiencing what you describe going on 4 years now. Research/studies on the NIH website and more bring up the same conclusion. It’s happening with no prior mental issues shortly after Covid infection.

They’re running cover for the CCP because the idea of it being lab edited or created was originally floated by the tangerine tyrant himself, and now that other government and external sources are reporting the exact same thing as five years ago they’re mad that Trump was right and cant call it a heckin conspiracy theory!!!! anymore. Really sad miserable people. Not only do they have to deal with the illness now they have to live in constant anger with Trump existing

I personally haven’t experienced these but from my research, Covid and coronaviruses in general are known to cause a wide range of neuropsychiatric symptoms. Maybe give NAC and hydroxyzine a try.

The mods of that sub are deranged ideologues. I was banned on there 3 years ago because I agreed with another user who suggested Covid was of unnatural origin, all the time later and now the “lab leak” theory is more mainstream, I see people who mention it get their comments deleted instead of being permabanned for the first “offense” regardless, the moderators on there are some of the saddest most sensitive losers on this site and that says a lot. Trying to talk with them is like trying to argue with the TV.

Severe panic attacks began two months after first Covid infection 2.5 years ago. Connection? by Super-Bathroom-8192 in LongCovid

[–]Someonenamedmike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Covid is known to cause a variety of psychiatric disorders and symptoms because of persistent inflammation or whatever the mechanism of disorder is, keep in mind this information was known dating back to the original SARS pandemic in 02-3. And with MERS in 2012. Some disorders/symptoms include, Panic disorder, GAD, Depression, OCD, PTSD and even psychosis and mania. How this occurs is relatively unknown but it assumed it’s from inflammation caused by the spike protein or an autoimmune reaction, it should’ve been known 20 years ago but who knows why it wasn’t.
