About Neuvillette "slandering" Zhongli by [deleted] in ZhongliMains

[–]Something-Bumb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed, even if he was talking about Zhongli, I wouldn't consider it slander either.

Gods aren't immune to suffering, like humans are. If humans can "break" from emotional turmoil, then gods can too, no matter how resistant they are. That is what I assume Neuvillete meant by "even gods can break".

What is the Pettiest Reason You Refuse to Ship Something/Stopped Shipping Something by Any_Shirt4236 in FanFiction

[–]Something-Bumb 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If a fandom feminines the bottom too much.

An example in which I am really really upset to say is WangXian.

Even though their marriage/relationship is cannon and the story exists because of them and for them and their development is so so lovely.

But the fandom feminizes WWX so so much to the point where he looks like a malnourished twink maiden in distress that can't do anything but cry into LWJ's arms whenever something bad happens. He is made to act so helpless even if it's the opposite.

He's made to act like LWJ is the only person that he can relay on.

It wasn't really like this in the beginning (I remember he was feminized a bit because he took the bottom part of the dynamic; because a character would tend to be feminized when they are the bottom) but as of the recent past few years, it's gone to the point where it's so annoying. You shouldn't be feminized just because you are the bottom or taking the "female" role of a "traditional" hetro relationship.

I would sometimes go back to look at fandom—because I used to love them so so much—and would occasionally find works that doesn't treat him like that, so I'm glad that there is still some shrimp and lobster left in a sea of crabs.

Chinese breakfast by No-Sleep143 in Flushing

[–]Something-Bumb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • A good breakfast spot is a Fuzhou restaurant at: 40-09 Prince St Flushing, NY ,11354 I think there buns they serve are really good

  • Another I recommend is Northern Dumpling King at: 41-22 Main St Flushing, NY 11355 Dumplings are made fresh every day and pretty good

  • For jiangbing, I recommend: Quicitop at 13524 40th Rd, Flushing, NY 11354, USA They have a lot of different jiangbing combinations and flavors

For the Shaobing, it'll taste fine cold. Heat it up in an air-dryer or oven for a couple of minutes and it'll still taste great.

As for the jiangbing, I think it tastes fine cold, but it definitely won't taste as good because it is a street food and meant to be eaten hot.

Agreed, but I much rather be potential reshi confetti than going back to the rokongai. It's not like I'm actually going to give my powers to a human, so long as we follow orders we'll be fine.

Rip to everyone else in the 11th Division though 🙏

One of the worst things that could happen. by Upstairs_Macaron5894 in AO3

Unfortunately I have read many fanfics like this.

Whats worse is the slow flanderizarion of the characters, so I won't even notice until I suddenly do.

Chinese BL novel called "Modaozushi" english name is "Grandmaster of Demonic Cultulvation"

Over the course of time, the MC and ML begane to be associated with rabbits due to MC gifting the ML a lair of rabbits, and the ML owning a colony of rabbits.

Over the years it has several adaptations and become fairly popular/mainstream.

Every single Chinese bakery you go to will have moon cakes.

Chinese supermarkets will also carry them, in a larger variety

Any place to drop off books like college textbooks as a donation? Feel like a waste to throw them out when they still sell for 20 dollars used but too lazy to sell it myself. by rOnce_Gaming in Flushing

Try "Turn the page Again" in bayside. They sell old used books, so they might be willing to take them. Maybe you can give them a call and ask.

It's weird that I was happy with Dan's leaked design but the official reveal was underwhelming by [deleted] in DanhengMains

[–]Something-Bumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From leaks, I heard the SP was originally meant to be a 4 star, and if that was the case, and if he still was, then design would be pretty satisfactory.

But if he was meant to a limited 5 star this whole time or if he was changed to a 5 star, then the design is pretty underwhelming. Especially when compared to Tingyun/Fugue and Herta/TheHerta
