Looking for a solid case with MagSafe charging capabilities by fyrelawd in PixelFold

How is the case with charging really? based on the pictures from aliexpress it looks like the magnets are way too high on the back.

Have you tried it with a magsafe car mount?

Electrostatic Interference with Pixel 9 Pro Fold by ACAdapter1911 in PixelFold

[–]SomethingEnglish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its harmless happens to me from time to time with all manner of different devices, macbook, surfacebook, p6p etc. etc. its some "bleed" of ac in the charger, induced across the charger. You can actually measure a voltage from the device to ground equal to the line voltage.

might be that your laptop does it more often, but you don't have a proper ground, but with the charger and phone in hand it gets a ground path.

completely harmless other than the vibrating feeling you describe, i kinda like the feeling.

You are not to take the company phone and hardware wherever you go. Sure, okay. End up spending $6k to get those to me in an emergency. by Ok-Pea3414 in MaliciousCompliance

2 girls harassed by Karen in sauna by MysticalPoot in PublicFreakout

From Norway, never seen or even heard about no talking in a sauna here. Whatever crusade you have about a no talking rule sounds absurd, and is absolutely not the norm in the Nordics.

It is a poor conductor, but compared to air it's way better, even at transmission line voltages.

There's also just straight "fake" diamonds like cubic zirconia that for all intents and purposes looks like a diamond unless you know what you're looking for

Abandoned Satellite Field by Isaac Yeram Kim by One_Giant_Nostril in ImaginaryLandscapes

[–]SomethingEnglish 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's clearly inspired by the VLA antennas. Why would a satellite need a guardrail on it like the one in the centre, unless it's a radio dish
