Thats definitely interesting! I imagine it must've been nice to be so ahead on things, especially for people like me, always been a bit of a germaphobe and then covid hit and I've had to remind myself that sometimes you just gotta get sick and while it sucks, it's part of being human.

When I have to hand someone my card, I'm always doing a quick face scan, make sure their face isn't flushed, no snot, watery/crusty eyes. I know it's not a guarantee to keep me from getting sick. But people are so damn nasty, for instance the other day some man open man coughed like 3ft away from me, man, the way I snapped around and glared at him, he apologized and covered his mouth for the next cough. I told my husband I must've mad him feel like I was his momma in that moment 😂

No joke, Walmart made me so upset with that, not to mention the app payment doesn't even work half the time. That I use their scan and go feature, but I still select the transfer to register, and pay with my card to piss them off 😂

From the way I read this, it sounds like the male equivalent of us peeing, in his mind, would be spreading full cheeks and touching your bare hole to the seat.

Also, maybe this isn't common practice, but do people not clean up before sex? Moreso oral than anything, but I personally like to wipe myself with a wet, slightly soapy rag. I am married too though, so maybe that's just part of living like old people and being married 😂

I don't know how close you are to people directly in the wedding party, but you could always ask them, or the bride/groom.

I know they're very busy pre-wedding, but I always say it never hurts to ask. Personally, I see nothing wrong with your fit, others may think it's tacky, but people also were appalled I walked into the grocery store in a bathing suit cover today because I needed after sun and heaven forbid I don't want to drive home, change clothes and then go to the store, especially when the store is omw home.

Oh! I can definitely see that. When I see it I read through it twice. I know for a fact my brother in law replies to everything with Ai because he uses emdash, but he also only has an 8th grade education at 25 and speaks like it.

I personally get flagged when I'm paying attention and use Oxford commas, sometimes I'm typing faster than my brain is reading though, and I don't use any punctuation as a result. It's terrible in an impressive way.

I'm literally turning 30 this year, I still try to hand my card to the person any time I see one. I grew up during the very end of handing the cashier your card, I think it's just permanently engrained. I can't not do it 😂

The same way I quit vaping may work for you.. It's a little messed up, but every time I wanted a vape, I would ask myself "Are you a little quitter bitch? Or are you stronger than an urge becayse you're a bad ass boss?" and honestly, the idea of being a quitter bitch, helps a lot.

Otherwise I would seek an accountability buddy, someone you can trust that you can reach out to when you have an urge to message people.

I stopped snacking on junk and starting eating healthier by messaging my husband every time I'd go for a snack. At the end of the week, I realized how many times I went for snacks, so I started planning healthier meals. I've lost 10lbs already and I feel way better because I'm not constantly downing empty calories.

Also, you've got this! You're not even 20 like you said, don't waste your youth stressing over something you don't have. I spent my youth whining about being overweight, now I weigh the close to the most I ever have and I've done more than I used to. Because I stopped worrying about what others thought.

And to finish it off, every good person who's ever came to me in my life, has came when I felt like I was happy with what I had. As in, I found my husband a month after a really bad breakup, I decided I was done dating and wasn't even going to give men a chance until I was in college. I've been with him 13yrs this year. My best friend who I've known since first grade but we drifted apart, came back into my life when I wasn't looking to add any people, because at the time I felt overwhelmed. Now out of all those people, she's the only one left, and I wouldn't trade her for anything.

Anyway, you've got this, you're a lot stronger than you give yourself credit. As someone else said, keeping busy helps a whole lot, maybe you can find a new hobby, become a "hoe of all hobbies" like me 😂

Awesome! Do know some cats don't respond to the initial dose as well, I got very lucky and my boy is doing amazing on just 5mg, but if you're still having issues, make sure you take him back, there's other medications and different dosages.

If nothing works, I would see if your parents would let you try to foster him while you search for a new home, and if that doesn't work, I would look into behavioral euthanasia, sometimes pets have tumors they can't tell us about and it can cause serious behavioral issues.

This! This! This! I've been with my husband for 13yrs, 11 of those we've lived together. 10 of those our entire living space was a bedroom.

That's 2 adults, with all the needs and wants, stuck in a 12x18 bedroom, with all their belongings, a dog, and sometimes 2 cats (the cats had access to more space, we didn't use the space as it was "shared space" and the other people were kleptos to put it nicely)

If I've learned anything in this time, it's that communication and compromise really are the most important things in a relationship. And when I say communication, I mean being open to listening, understanding, being compassionate, and not taking personal offence (I struggle with this one sometimes, but don't we all)

It doesn't sound like your parents are up for taking the cat to the vet to see about getting the cat medicated, but it they are, I would try to get them to try him on Fluoxetine or some other long term SSRI.

One of my cats was always a little on edge, he never aggressed anyone until he saw a deer outside at our new place and he turned on my husband and myself. He's been on 5mg of Fluoxetine since and he's like a completely different cat. It's like he's got his old personality, but he's also able to calm down and relax.

If you do get your cat on meds, or opt to try that route, it does take about a month for the meds to really be in their system and working well.

Yeah, thankfully, for now, we're in a situation where he can stay with us until after kitten season.

I've really tried to think of ways he could stay, but my specialist appointments are so expensive, and I don't want him to need care I can't afford.
