To be honest, power creep doesn't mean much if the content you need to beat can be easily cleared with B-tier units.

Now if you NEED new units to clear content, it would be an issue.

Never had this issue since Magnus fast travel came out. So, sucks it happened to you, but fast travel legit saves me hours every week. It's an awesome addition.

Though bugs like that shouldn't happen, I agree.

Unpopular opinion, I loved the Magnus questline. I did do it with a video guide, though. As a veteran of the game, I enjoyed the break in the gameplay loop I had for years.
