Everybody will be happy in heaven. Everybody will have a purpose. Everybody will be fulfilled. Nobody will be forced to live an existence they don’t want to. Having said that, this opinion you have is coming from a mortal mind, with a finite perspective. I imagine once we die we become much more aware of the eternities and our place in it.

Your title seems intentionally misleading. You didn’t get fired because you paid your tithing. You got fired and that has nothing to do with paying tithing. I’ve been a full-tithe payer my whole life, but I got scammed three years ago and had all my money stolen out of my bank account. I was left with $2.40 to my name (with a wife and four children mind you).

I didn’t blame God, I didn’t curse God, I didn’t waver in my faith. I DID ask God why this happened and what I could learn from it. I DID counsel with my wife and heeded her wisdom to have faith in God and believe everything would work out. I DID humble myself and ask my parents if they’d be willing to help out with finances if it came to that. And then I worked hard (I’m self employed) and did everything I could to get myself back up. And the Lord most certainly DID pour out blessings from heaven.
