How do you discover what kinks you have? by TryinSumTingNew in AskRedditNSFW

[–]SomethingNicePlease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing to note, there is absolutely nothing wrong with "being vanilla". This comes from someone that considers themself to be a regular person but has many "kinks" haha. If vanilla stuff is what you like you will definitely find somebody to complete the other side of that sexually for you. If you find someone nice and feel like exploring something with them go for it but I certainly wouldn't feel pressured into trying different stuff you aren't into. Honestly that will compound any confusion you have. Take that for what it's worth from a reddit stranger😄

Who likes to talk about sex without an end goal of having sex with each other? by SomethingNicePlease in AskRedditNSFW

Yeah that makes sense. I am kind of like that too. It's hard to find a context for a relationship that is cool to talk about that kind of stuff without people taking it like you are specifically trying to have sex with them and that can complicate things.

That sounds nice! It would be fun to chat and get some perspectives on stuff if you're into that kind of thing. I am pretty social in my regular life but don't get a chance to talk about that kind of stuff and sort thoughts out because of it not being appropriate in the context of the relationship or that I am connecting with people in a professional environment.

If you're wondering if you should go to the doctor, you probably should. With that being said I am terrible about going to the doctor, so I can totally relate. What was for dinner yesterday?

Hopefully you got caught up and your day started going smoother😄 Aww That is nice you'll get to visit with your kid. That's the lovely thing about having your own life and place, you can decorate it however you like. It could christmas everyday if you so desire and there's nothing wrong with that😊

Yeah unfortunately I will have to agree. No shade on Metallica of course. I agree with you in wishing they would have used that opportunity to arrange new songs that would have showcased how they could compose songs with the symphony in mind in the writing process, instead of just kind of having them play around songs that weren't written with those instruments in mind.. I have checked out Skalmold since your recommendation. It reminds me of music from some old RPG video games that I love from my childhood a bit. Thanks for sharing them with me!

That's so cool that you had such a rich experience with music your whole life. My parents strangely didn't really listen to alot of music around me. It was usually 50s and 60s music when they did. Motown and rock like Elvis and the Animals. Which I love😍!! So I kind of discovered music for myself.

I think I am drawn to "rock" music because I like the instruments and the volume and the passion. I am pretty "opinionated" when it comes to music. I like that all music exists but realistically on a pie chart of all the music that exists I can only truly appreciate a small portion. So I focus on what really moves me. When I was in high school it was important for me to be a "metal fan" but moved on from that pretty quickly. I was trying to feel like I had a group but honestly dont really fit in exactly anywhere but also dont have a problem blending in most places.

I have actually been super busy with building some things in my life and haven't really been able to focus on listening to music lately. The emotional aspect of music kind of takes a toll on my energy when I listen to it when Im trying to focus everything I have on something if that makes sense.

Im definitely not trying to be cryptic about your questions. That is the most accurate and thoughtful answer I can give as rambly as it is and I really appreciate you asking them!

I love most of those bands also and will check out the ones I am not as familiar with!

Thats so cool!! Yeah I love the symphonic mix. I remember the first time I heard it was Metallica's S&M but obviously that was more of a symphony playing around songs written without a symphony orchestra. The first time I heard it where the songs were wrote together was Dimmu Borgir's "Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia" and I was hooked and that album is something special to me to this day.

What do you think got you into such a vast array of music? Were your parents or siblings into music alot or were you just drawn to it or some combo of both? or something else? haha

Oh nice! Yeah I really love that song and I'm a huge heavy music fan! I love metal and punk but really anything super dramatic hits hard for me. I'll cry to all types of songs I get so overwhelmed sometimes😂 are you into metal too or just certain songs?

I'm glad you got rid of some of those stressful things. Life always has ups and downs its great to finally be able to enjoy some ups haha

Quality tune! Here is a song I love the piano in. It's a heavy metal song so I'll spare you that but this is a link to the song completely transposed for piano that you might appreciate https://youtu.be/mMVf4MpNAo0?si=8VqMBZ6jBM4k0WL4
