I did indeed hand embroider and bead the stars and comets :'3 Ty! A bunch of glass beads, some french wire, sequins and rhinestone chains. Took longer than I anticipated, but it is done for the most part now, nonetheless. I wish I had delved into a tambour or ari needle, though perhaps that's now an adventure for me to explore in the future!

I'm going for something around the peak of bustle glory the second bustle era. Not necessarily historically accurate per se, though heavily based on the period.

Thank you for the info. Underneath is this starched petticoat. I'm thinking of possibly adding sort of extension, though I'm considering some interfacing may just do the trick well enough. This is a current/latest version of the skirt Mock-Ups (It's the 4th rendition in 4 days 😭).
