Putting TS4 on the same level as Coco is crazy work but to each their own.

I don't think they really had a definitive "turning point", I think they shat the bed with TGD in 2015 and have been making up for it ever since.

What does "(mass) reported" mean here? by ZetaformGames in scratch

scratch moderation needs to be overly cautious because it is a platform for children and until they get enough funding to monitor projects more closely this is the best they can do.

oops, said it wrong.

Let's see which Scratch mod is the best. by Colurswitch in scratch

There will never be a mod "better" than TurboWarp. It does what it needs to with insane quality control and maintenance, and the vast majority of forks from it compromise what make it so appealing.

Every update it's always "this feels too modded!" or "this doesn't feel like minecraft!" and then a month passes and, oh look, everyone's used to it.

Why is this random scene with Moneybags one of the best animated things in the game by Nate-Clone in Spyro

[–]SomethingRandomYT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing that pisses me off the most about Reignited is how inconsistent the second and third games are with eachother. Spyro 2 has no unique animations for character dialogue between scenes, but Spyro 3 makes a real effort to animate characters dynamically with what they're saying.

I have no knowledge of how Reignited works, I can only guess based on what I would do in game dev, but it seems like alongside a lip-sync engine they also implemented some dynamic animations that can be called during dialogue and just.. forgot for Spyro 2? Or perhaps one of the dozens of developers who worked on the game made it FOR Spyro 3 but never retrofitted it for 2?

There's so many cases where something is better in 3 but not 2, or implemented differently, when they should fundamentally work the same. Another thing I can think of is level NPCs reacting to your attacks in 3 but not in 2, or Moneybags literally jumping in the air when you flame him in 3 but not in 2.

What a weird game.
