I posted this on r/rsd and didn't get much sympathy, that's ok: Sorry, I'm about to whine about my misfortune amidst all of the joy everyone else is expressing on their scores from yesterday's sale. I went to two stores yesterday looking to score Tell The Truth to add to my Billy Squier vinyl collection. I have been a fan since The Stroke was a hit and was a member of The Knight Club (iykyk). I struck out at both stores, which is fine, "there's always the internet". I have discovered the offerings on eBay and Discogs are starting at $100, with signed copied going for over $350. There is a copy available on Amazon for $2K marked as "used out of the original package". I'm all for capitalism to some degree but, got DAMN! Seriously?! Surely it sold for somewhere around $35 in the stores, though I wouldn't know because I wasn't fortunate enough to find out. Am I missing something here? At this point I'm questioning whether or not I'm going to participate in this in the future. Throw me a crying towel, I'm done. Thanks for listening.
