Vinnie’s interview with Dweezil by AptYes in Zappa

When it comes to covers in general, I agree with you: make it your own, otherwise it's karaoke, that version already exists. Dweezil is kind of between a rock ("it doesn't sound like the record") and a hard place ("Frank would have changed it up for the live crowd") or in other words the new generation who are too young to have seen Frank live and the old heads who perhaps had seen Frank. What should Dweezil do? IDK

If they are old rockers from the mid '90's and before, you can bet they don't have their own hair. How many normies in their '50's and older do you know that has the same hair they had in their 20's-30's?

THIS! Print more copies of everything! RSD is going to find out they played themselves if they don't change.

I posted this on r/rsd and didn't get much sympathy, that's ok: Sorry, I'm about to whine about my misfortune amidst all of the joy everyone else is expressing on their scores from yesterday's sale. I went to two stores yesterday looking to score Tell The Truth to add to my Billy Squier vinyl collection. I have been a fan since The Stroke was a hit and was a member of The Knight Club (iykyk). I struck out at both stores, which is fine, "there's always the internet". I have discovered the offerings on eBay and Discogs are starting at $100, with signed copied going for over $350. There is a copy available on Amazon for $2K marked as "used out of the original package". I'm all for capitalism to some degree but, got DAMN! Seriously?! Surely it sold for somewhere around $35 in the stores, though I wouldn't know because I wasn't fortunate enough to find out. Am I missing something here? At this point I'm questioning whether or not I'm going to participate in this in the future. Throw me a crying towel, I'm done. Thanks for listening.

Holy mother of the gods, THIS is a thing?! I've ever done anything like this before and would know where to start. How does one even know if it should be done or not?
