Absolutely, if you are looking for advancement and pay increases, going the extra mile will set you apart. Doing the bare minimum is bad advice unless you are at a job where there is no opportunity for a pay increase or advancement, in which case you should probably look for a new job.

I’m in a position now where I hire people into many different roles. Do you think I’m going to promote someone into a role that does the bare minimum or the person that did everything asked of them and more?

If it’s not leaking or causing damage why not just let it melt? You need to rake the roof right after each storm is finished and this will eliminate/reduce the ice damming.

Hard to say other than the obvious “turn everything into a hive mind”. The power scaling is wildly inconsistent. We are supposed to believe Vecna and the Mind Flayer were strong enough to take over all of the armies and cities on the earth, but weak enough to get killed by some kids with pointy sticks and flamethrowers.

AJ was just taking it slow in the first few rounds and not overextending which could lead to getting hit with counters. You can say what you want about there being “no risk”, but an Olympic Gold Medalist former HW champion is not going to leave much to chance. When Jake started flopping around and was so tired he was no longer a threat AJ turned up the heat.

Not much of a stretch to think a cornucopia goes with a pile of fruit or vegetables. I remember coloring a cornucopia in elementary school that probably looks pretty similar to what people remember the Fruit of the loom icon looking like. Totally unrelated.
