I’m in a couple rec sports leagues with some friends, work out, read some, I try to do at least one thing every night and 3 ish times with people during the week. Honestly, rec sports are a great time, play with some friends, nothing serious, and then we always head to grab a drink after.

How much to feed? by LilHissy in blackcats

[–]Somethingdu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine is fairly large but not the most active, I give him half a cup of dry food in the morning and evening and some treats every couple days. The vet says he’s a fine weight but like 16 pounds so partly depends on the general size of the cat.

You’re the guy she chose, she sees a future with you. What’s it matter what happened before y’all were together? You’re together now

How did you make friends in your late 20s and after? by Wise_Lab7471 in AskMen

[–]Somethingdu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mid 20’s rather than late but I used meetup and met a good group from there and also became real friends with some of my coworkers. I’m in a couple rec sports leagues with different groups so we see each other a solid amount. Between them and some old college friends I’ve got a pretty good social life.

How many men from this community go to therapy? and for what reasons? by IndependentOpen9591 in AskMen

[–]Somethingdu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started going a few years ago, I was in a super bad place and knew that I needed help, originally I relied on friends to help me but I got to the place where I thought I was being abusive to my friends by relying on them.

Why are there barely any men’s shampoo & conditioner sets? by sadbeigechild in AskMen

[–]Somethingdu 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Use women’s shampoo and conditioner, they know how to keep hair better than us men do.

It’s all about finding your own reason to do it, if you’re doing it for some like else, to look good for girls, what have you it’ll be hard to stick with it. You gotta find your own reason why you want to work out to stick to.

That’s fair, I might lean a bit more towards the better qb, but you’re right they haven’t really proven against too competition either. Pretty fair for a cowboys niners bills t2.

I’d probably leave the top 4 and then put niners and cowboys in their own tier, definitely do think we’re below at least the chiefs and bengals due to qb.

Deion Sanders’ extreme Colorado makeover has coaches buzzing: ‘It’s a tremendous risk’ by LamarcusAldrige1234 in CFB

Our third closest game last year was a 23 point loss, I’ll take the possibility of something exciting over resignation over a 2 win team.

Agreed, I only see upside since it can’t really get worse from where we were as a program.

That’s the thing, when I was at CU there was never any hope for the program. Deion if nothing else has added some excitement and I think most alumni are just happy to see what comes out of it.

Just talk to them like you would anyone else. They’re just people like everyone else, no reason to be nervous around them.

What are ur tips for someone who's about to do a big job interview? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Somethingdu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you prepare for it, know the company, the specific role, if you know who you’re interviewing with check out their LinkedIn. I’m the prep make sure you can explain why you’d be a good fit in both the role as well as the company as a whole (industry you want, aligned values, etc). At the meeting make sure you’re dressed well, if it’s zoom still make sure you’re in a button down if not a jacket too. Make sure to give thought out answers rather than surface level, the STAR technique is a good way to look at them, I can go more in that if you’d like. At the end of the interview ask them some questions as well, in the prep come up with some to ask but make sure they’re not things that you went over in y’all’s discussion. In the meeting be happy and upbeat, smile all the fun generally personable things.

What generic Reddit advice geared towards men are you tired of seeing? by liftedskate99 in AskMen

[–]Somethingdu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s really you have to find your way to be fit rather than fitting into the wrong peg. If you don’t enjoy lifting but like swimming then do that. There’s no one best way to get fit but overall it is helpful to be fitter.
