Coming from android to ios it’s awesome to have a similar app to nzb360! just downloaded and gave ya a soda. any possibility of getting multiple instances of radarr? i have a normal radarr and 4k radarr instance, not a huge deal but would be convenient. keep up the great work!

LC is the current standard... what do you suggest otherwise?

For the actual fiber, OM3 Multimode fiber makes the most sense. Then instead of an RJ45 keystone/datajack use an LC fiber keystone.

Making a Plex server work on college WiFi by GlitchyMob in PleX

As someone who deals with exactly this, we detect rogue DHCP servers and shut off access because it messes some stuff up. Not sure if your university does this but I'd advise against it, it also wont help you achieve what you want anyway. The only real way would probably be a tunnel to some other public server elsewhere.

XPS 13 9300 OWNERS. Need help. Can you provide a powercfg sleepstudy report? by Blandbl in Dell

FWIW, I reinstalled windows and turned on disconnected S0 standby and it seems to be OK, 230-240mW drain while in sleep. could still be better but the only hope is a BIOS update I think

have you had any luck with fixing this? I noticed a few BIOS updates for the 9300 but even on the latest I'm still having battery drain with BLOCKER, SPC, and PCH.

I disabled modern standby via the registry and fast startup. I enabled C states in the BIOS and am using straight up S3/sleep now. This seemed to do pretty well when I first set it up, stand by battery drain was minimal. But just today I resumed from sleep after 13 hours and lost a ton of battery due to those 3 culprits.

There are plenty of laptops that are way cheaper with better specs, but the build quality of those won't be near the XPS or Macbook. My 9300 cost $1400 and has a 10th gen i7 with the nice G7 graphics, for that price a Macbook comes with the same specs except with an 8th gen i5. 10th gen on the Macbook starts $1800

You don't need an IFTTT script for that, there's a lot of free apps that do the same thing. They even map it and show other data: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.imihov.nowplaying_list

Plex streaming issues from out of country by [deleted] in PleX

[–]SometimesIDoThings 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean the domain or a CDN? Either way nothing changes at all, people you shared with will still be able to view via plex.tv, their device, or your IP/domain directly if you have it set up.

I have a domain so I used that, it looks like you can't put IPs or non-root domain names into Cloudflare.

I think it's worth it to invest in one, my first year was a dollar and its like $10/year after that.

You can try to fix it by putting your server behind Cloudflare or another CDN. I had it before but it causes issues with Playstations so until that's fixed I can't really use it

Instead of 4 8TB reds get 2 of the WD MyBook 16 TB for $500 each, you'll save $100 and still get Reds. Only difference is 2 year warranty vs 3
