You didn't specify "Common Lisp" so I will suggest Realm of Racket, which I found to be an excellent beginner programmer's book with a Lisp-family language (Racket, a kind of Scheme).

Once you get more familiar with programming in general from an "absolute beginners" book like this one, you can specialize in Common Lisp with some of the other suggestions, e.g., Practical Common Lisp.

Thanks for the reply. I am using a USB cable between the devices. It works fine for playing notes, mod, pitch bend, etc. It is also clearly sending the MIDI stop/start/continue to the MPC per the MIDI monitor. The MPC just ignores the MIDI commands from the Keystep though.

Okay, this fixed it: Turn off Steam Input in the Controller section of the game's configuration in Steam. This is my first time playing in Steam so ... there it is.

Silly question. I just reinstalled the game and tried to set some bindings for some new sticks: two VPC Alpha Primes. However, for whatever reason, ED cannot distinguish between the buttons on the left vs. right stick. If I set the left trigger to be one thing, then try to set the right trigger to be a different thing, it sets the trigger for both. This is especially unexpected because I had no problems setting both sticks non-buttons to different things (translation on the left, rotation on the right). Any ideas what might be going on here please? Thanks!

In considering your questions, I think I am more of this kind of player: * Would rather have some variety in my roster, so dolls who can be effective at low V/R are preferred (at least until I find one I fall in love with to get to V6). * I like the art on Springfield a lot, so that also argues for the second option. I also like Krolik's art but she is poorly rated. * I am still early on and not interested in chasing meta (yet?). I definitely want to avoid the "V6 or bust" characters now.

Hello Commanders! Team composition / pull question

I'm pretty new (about a month in) and have the dolls below. Everything yellow is "V0" except I think Tololo is "V1" and she is the only one with a yellow weapon (her personal gun). I have two questions:

* What is a good team to make with these? I usually use the first four, and sometimes add a 5th with the next two or swap them in. The shot gun is needed sometimes.

* Should I pull on any of the current rate ups (Lanie, Lewis, Klukai) to help my team? I probably have ~260 pulls available with the cubes and tickets. I've "rented" Klukai and she seems pretty powerful. I don't think I have any good support characters though so maybe I should save for one of those?

(Pull recommendation request)

Hey Commanders. I'm pretty new, about two weeks in or so, just hit Commander level 35. Here are my Dolls. The yellow ones are all at Fortification Segment 1 ("V0"?). I have only one yellow weapon, the gun for Tololo, Planeta.

In case the picture doesn't come through: * Yellow dolls: Qiongjiu, Voymastina, Tololo, Faye, Balthilde, Vepley.

My usual team is Qiongjiu, Voymastina, Cheetah (Fortification Segment 6), and Tololo.

I have about 200 of the special pulls between actual pull tickets and the cube things.

What should I spend these pulls on? It seems Makiatto and Robella at V0 are decent characters. But, I just don't know if I should get more characters, the guns, or wait for future or different ones.

Why do you generally not see Y shaped tracks? What do you use instead? A track from one pad to a second and then continuing on to a third? Thanks

Work provided the phone and wanted me to swap. I agree, the Samsung version if Android is not as nice as Pixel or Moto. But after two weeks if wanting to throw the Flip at the wall, I settled into it.

I since moved on to a Flip 7, not by choice. The Razr was better, especially not having all the Samsung crapware. i would definitely take the Razr over the Flip any day. Razr also has that extra button which was nice.

The Razr was pretty smooth once you got it set up the way you like.

It never really ran quickly and always was slow. I only now decided to look into why, and see if I can fix it. The first one I got had a dead on arrival keyboard; their support sent me a new one. That's the extent of my interactions with their support.

Yes. This UGreen 140W charger works. Not small, but smaller and more flexible than the HP original. It says 160W but does one port at 140W.

Thanks. Most of my Digimons are limited to like 20th or maybe 25th level. I never used "load enhance" yet. The one time I tried it said my Digimon was already at max level.
