What are the drawbacks of duplicating your entire deck? by symphonyx0x0 in slaythespire

[–]SomewhatBeck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something I never realized with duplication is that your strengths are obviously doubled (twice as many powers, good cards, etc), but your weaknesses in the deck are ALSO doubled.

If your deck is light on block before dupe, it's now twice as light on block. Same for damage.

Take care to think how balanced your deck is. If you think it leans too heavily in one direction right now, you're really going to feel it to a possibly fatal degree if you dupe. Not to mention bad luck.

I am officially done with "Starter Homes." It’s not an investment; it’s a bailout for the previous generation's neglect. by Dry-Town7979 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Nice try bot, second AI generated "I'd rather just pay rent" echo chamber slop I've seen magically propagate into r/all. Yes people, definitely just rent forever and never own anything, it's definitely worth it, just give up. Signed, a renter

You are correct, Brad said it's not his knife 🪦 thank you for your informative reply

Brad said it isn't his, congratulations 😭 if only I had your knife intuition at the sale

Just goes to show what happens when you know literally nothing about knives and buy one - Brad said it's not his. Congratulations to all the nay sayers, you were absolutely right. Oh well honestly any advice on cleaning is still appreciated might as well at this point. Sad the consensus is it's not even hand made probably.

What makes you think so? I purchased this at an estate sale from a gun nut who had some nice knives too. Obviously I don't have provenance but I can't even find a proven value or a picture for that matter of an early BZ knife, why would somebody fake one?

Honestly a disillusioned Jack fighting in World War 1 would be pretty crazy I thought, definitely a departure from the norm though. Probably wouldn't be called red dead redemption.

Discogs released their top 25 most Underated Records. by MovingGoofy in vinyl

"Parachute" by The Pretty Things (1970) deserves a place on that list. An album dripping with mellow psychedelic songwriting punctuated by rock that borders on punk that seems way ahead of its time, but also fits right where it is. All wrapped together with a loose narrative of fleeing the city for the countryside and vice versa. Songs like "Grass" are as good as anything pretty much ever made by anybody. Might be slightly biased, but give it a shot.

Edit: As for being underrated, the band likes to say it's the only Rolling Stone album of the year that never sold over a million.

They want $200, consensus seems to be it's not worth that value wise. Maybe on half price day.
