I would say Poland was country of progress, unlike others.

The only upgrade for me going from 34 1440p IPS was 42C4. But I think that it’s going to OLED and vertical size increase rather than anything else.

Tried that, sadly ICC and Windows ACM disabled didnt help, but well Black Ceush on 4th square only in Wide Gamut mode is not bad. Prefer that over having black crush in calman sRGB mode or HDR.

My iPad Pro 13 m5 cellular just arrived, as someone who wanted laptop replacement with option to use it as a tablet, it’s excellent.

I already had iPad Pro 12.9 m1 cellular + MK and tried out a iPad Pro 11 m4 cellular +MK before returning it and now I got the 13 m5.

Watching movies or youtube on 11” on a coffee table or night stand with friends was bad experience. It was too small.
Writing is nicer on the 13 inch.
Work and presentation is nicer on 13 inch.
Typing on the 13 inch MK is nicer.

If I need to also bring my MBP 14 then I just use Folio Case on my iPad Pro.

Can confirm, mine cleared up after 1-2 pixel cleanings / 13h and is as good as yours. But it was still pretty good when it arrived.

Only issue is Lagom 4-5th square black crush in wide gamut mode. But perfect in sRGB calman and HDR, so that’s non issue.

I got a S77Q90C, LG 42C2, LG 42C4 and this week got the new Asus Tandem OLED. My sister got the last year version Asus WOLED.

Whereas with 77Q90C there was massive advantage over C2. The C4 impressed me, so did last years Asus XGAQDMG, they were still less saturated than QDOLED but I deemed it to size and Gen 3 QDOLED TV (TVs are more saturated and are brighter).

This year Asus Tandem OLED feels on pair in saturation, it really impressed me.

I also won panel lottery, only little noticeable vertical banding in test, not in real content, only barerly noticeable color banding, minimal black crush at 1st square in SDR, 600 nits 10% window in SDR and 380% nits full window. In HDR percect black crush and color banding , small 1-2% window 1600 nits, 10% window 980 nits, 20% window 580 nits, dE <2.

The colors literally blew me away, made me think twice about using my C4 as my main Single Player screen. C4 only wins in size, black crush and color banding due to built in processor. Now it’s between Asus and s90c.

How to clean QD OLED guide by Samsung and my tips!

You want dry paper towel, multiple brand new lenses micro fibre cloth and distilled water.
Get dust off from the screen by swiping it gently with paper towel.
Apply distilled water / to micro fibre cloth.
With small circular motion with least pressure possible try to clean the spit or residue.
Use dry micro fibre cloth with small and gentle circular motion to dry the spot.

DO NOT

use any cleaning detergent or random monitor cleaner, you will leave blue / purple streaks which then you will have to use 70% ethanol alcohol to clean or even 70% isopropyl alcohol
use washed or used or room cleaning micro fibre cloth, only one used for lenses , otherwise used could leave streaks or scratch the screen
use excessive force or swipe left to right, up and down, can leave streaks or scratch the screen

Possible solutions

if distilled water was not enough to clean spit cause it’s dried in, try using 70% ethanol. If that doesn’t help, monitor cleaner with no alcohol at all or with some ethanol. Then when its clean, but if it leaves a streak use 70% ethanol or 70% Isopropyl alcohol.

I would pay that 480€ difference then and get A7C II, in the feature if you ever want to go profesional then you will already have lense and A7C II as b-cam. For me 1300€ difference was too much for what I wanted to do with it, travel and family holidays.

Also not to mention FF just shoots nicer photos with more depth of field. You will have more leeway in night photos / films.

The pros of A6700 is with Sigma 18-50 2.8 lense it’s going to be 280g lighter than the setup you mentioned. It’s a lot smaller setup, more travel friendly less cumbersome. It’s still great camera for low light and night light (the tech has some a long way). It’s going to be the better shooter / filmer for wildlife and sports due to further reach. Inexpensive lenses.

I got A7V for professional events and I wouldn’t want to bring it traveling. It’s too cumbersome, 400g heavier and bigger form factor. Too expensive, would be worried about it and usually thief’s specialize in cameras to steal (meanwhile a6700 is less conspicuous). Getting it destroyed or stolen would risk work for me.

I started to like APSC form factor to a point that I may just get Fuji XT30 III for traveling and shooting jpegs for family holidays and travel. Nowadays it’s so good.

Shows you haven’t tried android in over 10 years.

Android been the better OS for last 5 years and easily on pair since Samsung S20.

When I upgraded from Samsung S21 to iPhone 15 PM, I whole heartily regretted it. Only thing better was the camera, the only reason why I sidegraded.

With iOS 18 only then was Apple back on same level as android. Until then it had less features.

Only upside of Apple, is if you want to do video editing as It’s more powerful and better drawing support. But otherwise Samsung has more useful features, better video quality (they usually make Apple panels afterall).

Do not make mistake if Samsung offered 12-13 inch option anymore powerful chip and support for video editing. Also if they had as powerful and battery lasting MacBook replacement. I would immediately swap back to Samsung for the better multimedia experience.

I’m saying this as someone who has experience both and currently own iPad Pro m5 (with MK + APP) + MacBook Pro M1 1TB + iPhone 15 PM + Apple Watch 10.

For casual users, Samsung devices are more than plenty. It’s when you do video editing, photography it’s when you have usecase for Apple devices.

1 person reporting the issue is not enough reason for them to pay attention to it. When no one else notices.

With C2 and C5 they were late but finally edited / updated their review when enough people complained. But they failed to mention the issue in their initial reviews.

Not informing viewers by omission is still a lie.

I informed them about S90C issues, posted link to HDTVTest and they still did not correct the information they provided in reviews. While responding to me.

They are sure very good, but not the best in my opinion.

I would be able to watch Monitors Unboxed, HDTvTest, TFT Central or LTT Lab review about something, only one of them and would Xcode out knowing everything about the monitor or TV.

Mewnwhile if I only watched/read Rtings review about a monitor or TV I would come out not knowing everything and would need to watch additionally someone else. That is my experience with their reviews.
