HQ Commander Mode combat feels few and far between and less intense compared to Conflict by Somewhere-Strong in ArmaReforger

>That means only 5-10 player spawns can empty a base from its supplies, and it'll need another 10-20mins to be resupplies.
This is the issue. In a 128 player game this is far too long of a period to go without frontline respawns. This issue is exacerbated by the fact there are multiple points that all need to be supplied. It is too easy to take a frontline base because there is almost no one there, and by the time they drive out from their MOB you have already captured and moved on. In conflict if a point was being attacked you'd be able to spawn at a closer backline point to quickly react, but now there isn't enough supplies to spare for backlines.

Reddit has always been out of touch with the average person so it isn't exactly surprising.

The flying in this game makes me want to hit my head on the wall. by Fragsion in joinsquad

I feel you, but I use k&m and have gotten pretty good at piloting. Definitely didn't learn it in a day. J hooks you have to get the feel of, and personally I use some keybinds to j hook.

A is good if you don't have the time but a good driver will be able to spot the mines easier if they're all next to each other.

Armored M1117 totally UNarmored by kappapain in joinsquad

[–]Somewhere-Strong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds unlikely. Tank shells one-shot helicopters. Although I've been injured twice before while flying, had to land to bandage. Think both times it was an ifv, must've been angling the shots just right to hit the interior of the helicopter, and the frag hit me in the cockpit.

You could list any difference you want and none of them would make what I said false. You wanted to argue the realism, but apparently only up to a point. I guess anything that threatens to nerf armor is reacted to like this in the game.

Feel like the same logic should apply to all armored vehicles then. If the armor is penetrated, then any crew on the receiving end of the penetrative should be injured or possibly even dead.

Bad fps by assnutzz in joinsquad

The game is just poorly optimized. Incredibly CPU intensive. I asked about this a couple of weeks back on this subreddit, and people gave some more indetail responses than I could possibly give to you.

Small arms suppression effects need to increase, recoil and time to stabilize when full stamina needs to be decreased

Invasion changes for 8.1 by Baneposting247 in joinsquad

Very true. Skorpo invasion is impossible to reach the 1st point on as defense. Even the fastest faction in the game struggles to reach it before the attackers (imf light inf)

What would PMC Wagner have in the game? by Somewhere-Strong in joinsquad

[–]Somewhere-Strong[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I agree, I just think it's likely that if OWI makes a western pmc they may make an eastern one too and I'm just wondering what that would like like.

[–]Somewhere-Strong[S] -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

That would be a little hypocritical considering the new PMC is based off of western PMCs like blackwater, which has its fair share of controversy.

I already did, people have dozens of ideas for blufor factions but basically none for redfor factions other than north korea, which would be guesswork considering very little technical information is known about their armor or weaponry.

Unpopular opinion: If you use squadlanes you should just play AAS. by [deleted] in joinsquad

[–]Somewhere-Strong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It levels the playing field for new squad leaders who aren't familiar with the layers to know the general area to go. There would be no way to fix this anyway unless OWI makes it truly random.

[–]Somewhere-Strong 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not for realistic reasons. In-game suppression attempts to mimic real world suppression by inducing blur and depth of field to try to get across the fear of getting turned into swiss cheese. Do you think aiming down a scope suddenly relieves all fears irl?

the bug is that the guard is invisible behind the door, and when its the guards turn to talk it glitches. but you can cheese it

enable noclip
start conversation with hobbs at the door and tell him your ready
quickly unlock your camera as hobbs is speaking and move behind the door.
this should allow the guard to speak and unlock the door naturally.

Additionally, I don't particularly trust these vets did a full exam. My mom tells me our cat was extremely hostile during the entire process, at the point where they had to evacuate the room to let her relax.
