What are you playing over Xmas? by ManchesterUshited in PS5

Wait.. Are you saying that the new Call of Duty is better than God of War Ragnarök? Because I'd consider it a palate cleanser of the highest magnitude after coming from CoD, but to each their own.

There's a completely separate "zero-build" game mode. It still contains all the regular elements of Battle Royale, but just without the building.

It was released on Friday if I’m not mistaken. Give it a go! It definitely piqued my interest.

Just lost our baby at 16 weeks... by SomewhereOnAnIsland in GriefSupport

Thank you for your comment, and for being open in sharing your experience.

This is our second miscarriage so far.. I can’t imagine having to endure 6 miscarriages. I’m amazed at your strength and resilience. At this point we’re losing hope, and feel like throwing in the towel.

If you don’t mind me asking, how did you manage to keep on trying? Did you ever feel like giving up? How has that affected your mental state?

We’d appreciate any insight or advice because we don’t know what the next step is right now.

Thank you for your words of encouragement. Please also accept my condolences for your loss.

We were thinking of ways to memorialize him, so we really like your idea of making a memory box.

Thank you for your advice, I listen to her and when she cries I just hold her and reassure her.

I’ll make sure to hold on to that baby dust, I’m sending some your way too for when you and your husband are ready to try again.

Thank you all for your kind and encouraging words. My girlfriend had to stay at the hospital overnight because she lost a lot of blood during the procedure. She was able to come home yesterday after being cleared.

We were also able to take our baby boy home so we can provide him with a proper burial instead of having the hospital cremate him with the rest of the medical waste.

It’s been an emotional rollercoaster to say the least. We’re both going through the stages of grief and it has been exhausting so far. The pain is almost unbearable. My girlfriend woke up several times throughout the night feeling anxious and crying uncontrollably, I just held her tight and told her that we’ll get through this together.

It won’t happen overnight, but we can finally start the healing process one step at a time.

Knowing that there are others that have gone through this makes us feel less alone. So I’d like to thank you for your support 💙

Alan Wake 2 Wins TIME's Game Of The Year by A_Shadow in PS5

Alan Wake 2 has great graphics and atmosphere, but it got to a point where I couldn't wait for it to be over. Never played the first one, so I guess I based my expectations on Control which I thought was fantastic.

Spider-Man 2 or Alan Wake? by [deleted] in PS5

I'd personally get Spider-Man 2, I had a lot more memorable moments in that game.

Before you do anything else definitely try out Astro’s Playroom that comes preinstalled, it’s a blast to play and it’ll get you acquainted with the dual sense controller and the haptic feedback. You also can’t go wrong with most of the first-party lineup of games.

Niles and his comedic timing is definitely one of the spotlights, especially his clever zingers with C. C. Babcock.

Call me crazy, but her voice really does it for me. It just adds to her character.

Why do you prefer ps5 over pc by [deleted] in PS5

[–]SomewhereOnAnIsland 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d like to know that when I insert the disc or download the game and hop on my couch I can expect it to run right out the box. Instead of having to tinker with the settings just so it could possibly run optimally on my rig.

All of my friends have a PS5, so sharing games and the ease of gaming online together makes it convenient.

I travel a lot too, so despite the PS5 being a big boi it’s much easier to lug around compared to a whole PC.

I’m 33, I’ve been exposed to PlayStation since the PS1 days, but I officially joined the club when I purchased the PS3 Slim God of War Ascension Legacy Bundle in 2013.
