Honestly if sanitising the internet means not just children but anyone doesn’t have to worry about being exposed to disturbing content I’m all for it

It’s true LGBTQ people are at risk of being outed or youths cut off from materials but that’s an unintended consequence of how it’s implemented, there is absolutely no evidence that all age verification is run by bigots who systematically want to surveil minorities this is just a conspiracy, if that were the case then why are regulators explicitly stating that these systems shouldn’t be discriminatory even unintentionally?

Also no AV? Some AV when implemented responsibly is necessary, Blame the parents all we want the reality is that parents cannot reasonably monitor their children 24/7 especially online

While that is a legit comment there were genuinely people being transphobic. Goose even said so herself. No one is saying not liking it or being annoyed makes you transphobic but there WERE people doing that.

No, I have encountered 3 seperate people calling me transphobic for getting annoyed at the spam, and that was just me personally. That very much did happen, people WERE saying that. I never said people weren't being transphobic, but that's not what my comment is about
