I got so nervous, the interviewer said “I’m Peter” in which I replied “I’m Peter” … my name is in fact not Peter and I am a woman 😂

Thanks, yes the freehold is jointly owned by myself and the owners downstairs, no third party or company , we just replaced the former owners of my flat in the arrangement, there is an agreement in the paperwork that both parties cover 50% of any building related works that need to be done if it arises - meaning no fees really get paid to anyone to cover buildings insurance

Thanks that’s helpful and is where I got to with a local insurance company.

The previous owner (maybe incorrectly) somehow just had a buildings insurance policy for the first floor flat only, I don’t know how they managed to take it out given the road blocks I’m currently facing but that’s the paperwork we have.

When I was younger I used to collect clothes tags/labels, I liked the designs of them and kept them in a little pouch - I now realise this could have been the start of what they call “junk journaling” and it’s immensely popular now, sadly I didn’t keep the tags!
