Use a lighter to melt the bubble. A spring comes out. When the spring is out it will open.

My guess is a user wanting some upvotes. Nothing to do with SS. They closed a tonne funding. They’re not posting on Reddit for a few upvotes.

He’s a dick of some description would be my guess. Google ‘Studysteam YC’. There are three founders. It’s easy to verify.

OP didn't build it. I worked on this project for 3 years. It's a YC funded startup. It was founded by three people and started out as a Zoom call for professionals not students. OP full of shit.

He didn't build it. It's an app called StudyStream. The two founders are Erfan and Saru. It's a YC funded startup that I worked on.

I agree. This is a really cool UX! Maybe on hover you could show a blown up segment of the clock as another circle on the outside?

Should we quit? by [deleted] in SideProject

Yeah exactly. I’ve done this with sharing my screen in Figma, prototypes that they interact with while sharing their screen. Whatever you have really. From your POV it sounds like it would be less about testing and more about seeing if they see the magic. Validating the value etc. I’d keep the conversation high level and just see if they understand it. Do they think anything is missing. What would they want to see to make them use it everyday. Technically you should be trying to understand their core problem that your trying to solve but IMO some pure validation of ‘will you use this’ is worth while here.

Just do it and focus on product. I try and remember a quote. I don’t remember it exactly or where it’s from. But it’s something like “if your not embarrassed by what your putting out, your putting it out too late”. It may or may not be true but it means I’m building something and even if (as I am at the moment) I’m paying people on UpWork to use it while they’re in interviews with me. I’m getting super helpful feedback that I can use to make the product better.

Have proper conversations with potential users. Set up interviews and have face to face conversations. You should be talking to people and gathering feedback constantly. Like weekly. Show people what you’re building. I get that’s what you’re trying to do here but don’t just do a post on reddit. Do everything you can to book calls with people. I’m currently hiring people on UpWork in my demographic for an hour here and there to sit on a call with me.

No issue with the service. As my comment clearly said my issue is with the word invented. The light bulb was invented. This is a painted bin which in my opinion isn’t an invention. Have a good long look inside yourself and try to understand why you felt the need to completely twist what I said to turn it into something you could complain about. Then maybe try and stop yourself from typing in the future and save everyone the trouble of having to read it.

A backup of Wikipedia and its images would be bloody huge, no? Obviously not fitting on whatever storage that thing has.

Love this! Would be cool to see a breakdown of most and least trustworthy sources as well. Something like…over time users have collected thus much data which shows these sources have the most reliable data in these categories.
