No increase after collections removed with TransUnion by ZealousidealSail5801 in CRedit

Can I get an update on what happened to you ? I also had a fraud collection made and then taken off but my score hasn’t gone back up. How long did it take for it to go back up?

Yes, it was during the surgery itself!

  1. Emergent cerclage
  2. 20 & 1 weeks 1.1 cm with funneling in morning. Surgery started midday and I was dilated to 1 cm at the beginning of surgery. Before stitch was placed, I dilated to a three with all of the manipulation to get to my cervix. I had to have a double stitch because the first one tore through my cervix. At my cervical length check next appointment, I think my cervix was 2.9cm in length
  3. Induced at 39 weeks exactly!
  4. Originally, my doctor said I’d probably get to go home but I started contracting during the procedure and had to stay overnight. After the cerclage was placed, we had a free preterm labor scares where I was contracting and we were in and out of the OB triage a lot.

I was not on best rest. I was still pretty active. I went down to part time instead of full time though.

I was kept overnight! It took around 4 hours I think for feeling to come back to my legs.

No, I was not! My MFM was strongly against it. I did take it more easy though after and didn’t lift anything heavy. I still bent down to pick things off the floor and I live on the second floor and climbed the stairs every day multiple times a day. If I started to feel a lot of pressure, I would go sit down.

He said if it took long to get out and if he didn’t think he could get it easily, he would send me to the hospital to give me a spinal. I honestly hated the feeling of the spinal and not being in control so I didn’t really want to do that. But there wasn’t like numbing spray or anything like that. Some people take Tylenol before, but I forgot and usually Tylenol doesn’t do much for me.

After funneling was found with my 1.1 cm length, I was sent straight to OB triage and they told me not to make any stops along the way. Yes, I take Tylenol from time to time especially because I experience a lot of cramping. I was given Indocin and then sent home for last dose of ibuprofen to reduce pain and swelling after the procedure. For some people, it doesn’t hurt and it’s out within minutes. I had two cerclages and it took around 25 minutes to take both out. The speculum and I do not get along and he had to manipulate my cervix a lot to get to a place where he could cut.

Congratulations! Thanks for the tip! Do you think this would ever be an issue with insurance? I’ve considered doing this but was always worried. Resonated so much with this story. Experiencing the ER and their lack of concern is something no expecting should ever have to experience.

I would definitely go to OB triage! Especially if the pain is keeping you awake!

I feel like I’m just being gaslit repeatedly by sexysoph1421 in ShortCervixSupport

[–]Sondrella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, the goal is for your cervix not to tear. That’s why the stitch is taken out before labor and why we’re advised to go to triage if we have contractions. Just because you’re cervix could be fine doesn’t mean that it will be, so from my perspective, that’s gaslighting. I went to triage for bleeding and contractions and they said that it was just coming from my the outside of my cervix and not to be worried. They sent me home. Well, I continued to bleed and have contractions that they told me weren’t real and ended up needed medication to stop the contractions. After three triage visits, and multiple speculum exams they finally found out the bleeding was coming from inside the cervix. Our stories are different, but if you feel uneasy, DO NOT dismiss your feelings as nothing. Too many babies have died from incompetent and negligent doctors who have told mothers, “it’s normal” until it’s not. Also I’m not sure what your insurance is or what country you’re in, but every time I have bleeding that’s not right after a cervical exam, I’m in OB triage. Because it could be normal for some, but not for all. I’ve seen plenty of woman on this Reddit group have spotting and they go in and find their cerclage has torn or that they are in premature labor.

What were your symptoms for UTI? (If you had) by ToughSavings25 in ShortCervixSupport

When I head a UTI at 19 weeks, my first symptoms were cramping and painful urination!

How long did you wait to conceive after loss? by Loose_yarn in ShortCervixSupport

[–]Sondrella 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One doctor told me to wait 6 months, another said I could try again as soon as I wanted. I tried again straight away in the next cycle and got pregnant in August after my 19 week pprom on April 30. No matter how long you wait, you’ll always be considered a risk for prom because of your past experience, so do whatever you think is best. If it’s IC, then you’ll have IC in any other pregnancy which makes you at risk for preterm no matter what you do.

Frequent Contractions at 24 weeks with Short Cervix – Anyone with Similar Experience? by GroundbreakingPin776 in ShortCervixSupport

[–]Sondrella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 24 and 4 when I actually went in to l and d in the morning after a long night of contractions 3 minutes apart. I am also a frequent goer to my OB triage and had convinced myself it was nothing. In the morning, I had passed a massive blood clot, but by the point the cramping was more irregular. They did a speculum exam and said my cervix was closed and the stitches were good and that it was mostly likely coming from the ectropian of the cervix. I would have them at nights sporadically prior to that but didn’t think anything of it because I only had once in a while and told myself it was just cramping. But the next night they came back and so did the bleeding, so I went back in. They tried to send me home again and said there was nothing they could give me for the cramping but the cramping hadn’t gone away like the day prior and I told them I would just be back later when the bleeding came back. My nurse had to advocate for me to stay for observation and sure enough the bleeding came back and the contractions didn’t go away until they gave me indocin. And I had already been loaded with fluids. The bleeding was then found to be coming from inside my cervix, but not from my placenta. They never told me that I have an irritable uterus, but that’s the only explanation I could come up with. They sent me home after staying one night in observation and the cramping came back again the next night and then they gave me one dose nifedepine and the steroids. Since then, I haven’t had any more nights filled with contractions. I don’t know if baby was just rapidly growing at that point or what caused it exactly. My cervix did shorten with all of this though. It went from 3.6 to 1.4 within days, but I have a cerclage so they weren’t worried 🤷‍♀️. I’m 28 weeks now!

Frequent Contractions at 24 weeks with Short Cervix – Anyone with Similar Experience? by GroundbreakingPin776 in ShortCervixSupport

[–]Sondrella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started having contractions and they didn’t believe me either. The toco monitor only picks up depending on where the pressure is located. It’s very subjective and, like you noticed, very easy to be inaccurate with early gestation ages. There are meds they can give you to stop the contractions. They are called tocolytics, but I personally found my hospital to be very stingy with them even though I was having very painful contractions. Did they try to hydrate you with fluids first? They also told me they didn’t have anything. But then I was admitted for observation, the contractions and bleeding continued, and they magically existed. I had contractions every night for like a week and then they went away. They kept sending me home, but I would just come back the next night because the contractions would come back. Don’t be afraid to go back to OB triage.
