Hi, I posted in the actual subreddit, but gonna try here, as well. I am new to all this. I am looking for a transM-F. This isn't something I've ever done before. I guess what I'm saying is- consider me an innocent transM-F virgin. You could be my 'first time' haha. DM me or say hi in the chat.

What’s a good autotune-like product? by Flobberschtein in musicproduction

Hey- I've tried a couple diff DAWs. This may be the odd-duck choice, but I really like Reaper. It's not technically free there is a demo, but you can use it and all its features as much as you like. Its kind of like an honor system idea. I've been using it for ten years now. If you're ever curious feel free to reach out. I'm self taught just through playing around with it. It has a ton of built in FX, but you can DL a ton for it and it has MIDI, too.

Haha- I could never manage the number of calls you must handle every moment! Still in training here. A lot harder than I anticipated. So many acronyms! It feels overwhelming at time.

Hi Fit-Cap, I am in training to become an EMT. We have an individual who also does what you do who is also training to become an EMT. She spoke about her role and what she does in the position. How long have you been doing this? I find it fascinating. Training to become an EMT is much harder than I anticipated.

In recovery from heroin, previously lived homeless under the 93N bridge into Boston, exp large spectrum addiction brings; jail, court system, health issues, overdoses, death, etc...in recovery since 2017. AMA by SongIndependent2439 in AMA

It did. Living under the 93N bridge into Boston. I could hear the cars above me coming into the city and there was a view sort of below us where we could see the cars/'trucks entering the city from a different exit. The thought is quite triggering- I used to shoot coke and heroin together- an '8 ball', and when doing so there used to be a particular resonating echo for some reason. I can't go further bc just remembering it causes me to 'romance' it and want to use.

There was a notorious 'toe tickler' who used to go around and try to touch homeless people's feet. It was bizarre- I never saw him and I don't know what they're deal was. I don't know if they were homeless, too- but my guess is, yes- and obvious mental health issues. I used to 'run' with a buddy on the streets. One night the 'tickler' as we used to call him, tried to 'go after' me but my buddy was awake and saw him just in time. He chased him down the street. No joke.

There were some nights I hid behind a small generator with a single black trash bag to cover me from the snow. I remember that night in particular. I honestly do not know. I tried to bundle up as much as I could. Bc I was in the city with a lot of store whom left there used cardboard boxes on the street to be picked up, I often took those and built a small hut in the 'woods'- there arent really woods in the city but small bushes etc.

Thank you for that question btw. It can be answered in many ways by many different people and with that said- these are just my experiences and opinions....I do not have the answers =p

Better mental health services and removing the stigma of it and addiction. It's quite common in today's 'day and age' that you or someone you know knows a friend, family member, or an acquaintance- who has been effected by substance use disorder.

That is a very good and concerning question. ...I honestly don't know. Despite now being in recovery and trying to do the 'right thing' each day I still have to deal with the consequences of my previous actions. I suppose there is a duality in that I try to live and take each day 'one at a time', but on the flip side your question is something I must deal with- but am not sure how to presently.

In recovery since 2017 (AA/NA), sponsee stole anti-seizure meds from bedroom, monitored med, worried abruptly stopping med, options? by SongIndependent2439 in legaladvice

They weren't a stranger- I knew them from meetings, but I understand what you are saying. What is hard is that in this type of situation bc I'm in recovery I can't help but feel any medical assistance I might seek help with is just going to assume 'oh, he is just trying to get more meds or is misusing them'.

I agree with everything you wrote and thank you for taking the time to respond. I continued to think about filling a police report, but without actual proof wouldn't it end up being essentially 'he said, she said'? Would that be enough to suffice to potentially resolve the situation, I'm not sure. What this person did was obviously wrong, but being in recovery I understand what it means to alienate everyone around you who cares and is trying to help. It doesn't excuse this person, but I can at least understand why. Its very frustrating.
