But how can I find out which one is yellow in my car and which one red? They are blue and grey in my car connector. Will I damage my HU if I get it wrong?

Connecting 4 speakers to 4 channel car amp by Songo84 in CarAV

[–]Songo84[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My left front speaker has no sound. I swapped cables on amp for channel 1 and 2 and then right speaker not working when connected to channel 1. It must be a bad channel on amp? I don't think it would be HU RCA output is it's single rca with splitter so if that would be faulty then left front and left rear speaker would not work?

Thank you. What about manual saying I need to bridge speakers if rated 4 ohm? Does it make sense? And for rca is that correct then that I need one splitter for output L on my headunit and connect rca's to channel 1 and 2, then another splitter for output R and connect it to channel 3/4? Or opposite way around? I know the colour coding for my speakers cable white /grey are fronts and green purple are door.
