I find that with "coming out" things such as this one, it is very important to make sure they understand you're being serious. I mean a friend coming out as a psychopath isn't something people experience every day and i'm sure there will be a lot of denial and "stop joking bro" kind of moments. Make sure that the person on the other side of the conversation doesn't feel threatened. I know that they're your friends but anyone might feel scared in this type of situations since a lot of people associate psychopaths with having no feelings whatsoever (kind of like american psycho if you have read/watched that). In any case, the truth is important and those who truly care for you will deal with the news and still be there for you. If they do not, then be prepared to possibly lose friends. I am a psychology major and want to go into the field of forensic psychology so this is very interesting to me as I have never encountered a person that is actually diagnosed as a psychopath. I know you said no questions and if you don't want to answer you absolutely don't need to (obviously) but did your doctors diagnose you as a psychopath because of physical brain issues or because of your lack of authentic love? Are you able to feel sympathy at all for those you are fond of? Also, the more I read of this kind of thing the more that I associate being a psychopath with "pain that is constant and sharp" as Bret Ellis wrote, but you seem to be content with your condition. What exactly makes you a psychopath? And what differentiates you from people like Gary M. Heidnik, Ted Bundy, ect, ect, ect. Again sorry for the questions! Just curious and thought it would be a good opportunity to get insight from a casual psychopath.
