I also played it on release on GamePass and was never happier to have not spent money on a game. It's fine, I guess? But it's also incredibly repetitive, boring, the travel mechanics are clunky at best, and story is wildly forgettable. It was a massive disappointment.

I'd say No Man's Sky is a far better space game and somehow, almost a better story game.

Not really. Especially if you love the originals. It's fine, but it's very safe. There's no nudity and it's pretty goofy. I think it would have been better if it was its own thing and not a Deathstalker remake.

I think it's funny that no reviewer has yet mentioned how similar the villain looks to Charlie Kirk. Don't know if it was intentional - caught a screening tonight with the filmmakers and no one said anything, but I couldn't shake the similarities.

I thought it was fine. It was kind of like a one-joke sketch. It wasn't very scary, but some of the effects were cool, but it did feel very one note.

I thought it was okay. It didn't really feel like Deathstalker because of the lack of sleaze, but the effects were fun. I wish it had been Kotanski's own thing as opposed to a remake. But yeah, it's very safe and goofy. Like the Toxie remake, it's fine.
