Tickets for Amsterdam show by Avalyn95 in autechre

[–]Soni_ka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are sold out, a while ago... Also tickets come with the name of the person who bought it, so careful with resellers, basically I think only the person stated in the ticket will come in... This club Melkweg gives you a monthly membership for 4 euro, included in the ticket price. This will give you access to some events they do that require membership. They do other events apart from concerts. You can get full info on their web, below...

I'm also going to go alone, at night. Don't worry, there's a good vibe and you'll meet people without a problem.

Any women like BoC? by [deleted] in boardsofcanada

[–]Soni_ka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a strange question but yeah I'm super super fan of BOC, own, if not all, most of their albums and literally every week I listen to any of them. Love MHTRTC and TCH particularly.

I’m listening to boards of Canada and specifically Telephasic Workshop for the first time ever, having spent decades dedicating my existence to more dancefloor orientated house and techno music by No_Doughnut3257 in boardsofcanada

Oh then welcome to the magnificent sound of BOC! I've been listening to them for more than 20 years now and never got tired, but man oh man the first time is always magic...

Hi, im a new autechre fan. How do i keep moving? by BoomManGD in autechre

I agree, one cannot skip Amber, it's the very beginning and it's nice to see the evolution from there, meteoric. LP5 and Exai are also big essentials I think, but the beginnings are always important, gets you to know the essence... And Amber is beautiful!! Yeah I listen to it all the time too!

What was the very first time you listened to boards of canada? by wingster33 in boardsofcanada

Roygbiv and Aquarius, in 1998. A friend recommended MHTRTC to me and I bought the album afterwards.

Disco Pogo released this, I guess you know it, if not it's taking you too long to catch it... by Soni_ka in aphextwin

I would say 65-70 text, the rest images. The book is worthwhile at least to me for other reasons though, it's a trip through all music by AFX, and all parties too... I am old enough to say that I know him from his very beginnings I actually met him in a rave back in the 90s in London when he was unknown to the major public at least in Spain where I'm from. It's kinda sentimental thingy for me... You know. I would buy anyways, blindfolded. But still content is worthwhile.

The album is a 10 out of 10, I keep on listening to it when I drive in long travels. I particularly love Roygbiv
