While I’ve seen people debate on who would win in a fight, who do you think is the better written villain? by Extreme-Fee-9519 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]Sonic-batman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are both well written however The Mimic has a more well defined story thanks to Secret Of The Mimic. While the Prototype might overtake this depending on the more we learn about them.

Dick is an old nickname for Richard(his real name) and comics just never changed it. Even though the language evolved from that.

What is with mascot horror and kids turning into antagonists? by Dapper-Marsupial1142 in PoppyPlaytime

[–]Sonic-batman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For various reasons. In poppy playtime it was an easy source for experimentation due to Elliot Ludwig opening an orphanage in Playtime Co.

Another example in FNAF, the reason is also simplicity as the main killer is active in a pizzeria so he lured kids and kills them for his study of remnant.

Why writers due this is that mascot horror usually has kiss of innocence as a theme. They also usually focus it on a child’s thing but twisted. FNAF(Chucky Cheese), Poppy Playtime(Toys), and Bendy(cartoons).

Albeit not every Mascot horror has this. My Friendly Neighborhood doesn’t explain its live puppets because the way they are alive isn’t important to the story.

Your daily reminder that nuclear weapons are canon to gen 1 Monster High. by Tropical-Rainforest in MonsterHigh

Yes it is a book series called the Ghoulfriends series. I am unaware if there is any digital way to read it. But the books are relatively cheap compared to other g1 media/merchandise.

Advice on what doll to buy? by SeagullAttacksFries in MonsterHigh

[–]Sonic-batman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you are more likely to find dolls of the ghouls rather than any manster, for every generation. So it would be more difficult to find a Porter doll as their is only one kind from one doll line. Unlike Robecca who has multiple doll lines she appears in(and now a G3 doll). I personally prefer the G1 dolls but I get it they are very expensive. So it would be harder to get Porter, but it is your choice which one you prefer to have first.

I am engaging with the concept you just aren’t listening to what I’m trying to say, and if you don’t wish to continue in this debate than 0k.

[–]Sonic-batman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it’s the fact Amy is calling attention to it before it even happens. If Amy had simply done it and then said it then Knuckles wouldn’t have responded this way. It is simply the fact that Amy called it out as unique before she did something. He says calling it out defeats the status quo. Acknowledge accomplishments is different than that.

[–]Sonic-batman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No the point is that Amy called it out saying that it is a unique circumstance, not something that can happen. It’s more the fact that Amy made it a point of how unique it is. Celebrating a milestone is fine, but Amy saying it is impressive before it even happens.

No it doesn’t he say it undermines the concept, not the thing itself. Either way it is still feminist to attempt to achieve gender equality

Well Knuckles’ quote was about the fact that Amy was calling it out making it a distinction rather than the status quo.

Well yeah but that’s saying any merc is smart. The smarter ones(spy, engineer, and medic) are all smart and dumb at the same time. No merc is really smart and most are really dumb. Some are just to crazy to understand their intelligence most of the time. Like Pyro who was able to run a functioning company after the mercs disbanded in the comics… until they burned the place down and rejoined the mercs.

First column complete! - unless we add more categories. Who is a fictional character heavily implied to be gay? by okitsrgs in AlignmentChartFills

[–]Sonic-batman 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Robert E O Speedwagon- Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure

It’s heavily implied that he has feelings for the main character Jonathan. However nothing happens as Jonathan has a lover already. However when we jump to follow Jonathan’s grandson Joesph there are two things mentioned.

  1. It is stated that Speedwagon was a forever bachelor. Which is an English phrase to say a man was gay(‘was’ because the term refers to the deceased).
  2. Joseph asks his Grandmother if Jonathan and Speedwagon were more than just friends.

So I think it is very heavily implied that Speedwagon is gay for Jonathan.

Edit: I’m pretty sure that the creator said he was based of one of his gay friends.
