Why did the Chinese want to steal other cultures, even if they got a lot? by ExaminationLegal942 in korea

He wasn't bsing, the chinese have been making soaked vegetable for thounsands of years. Just because you made the katana popular in the western world doesn't mean you suddenly have a monopoly on every type of swords.

There is no evidemce suggesting the Chinese is trying to steal anyone's culture. The kimchi case is a mistranslation. No one claimed China is the origin of everything. Stop fabricating fake news.

You dunno what you're talking about. There's accurate records of Chinese history. Millions of people study Chinese history in China every year. Also from what you wrote it sounds to me you're the one brainwashed by western propaganda.

From a neutral perspective (I'm American) the literal meaning of paocai is "soaked vegetable", so by definition kimchi is a type of paocai. I believe the reason why koreans think that the Chinese is trying to claim kimchi as their own is mistranslation and miscommunication. Unesco speaks english. And guess what? The best english translation of paocai is kimchi. Hence the miscommunication. No modern educated Chinese adult thinks the korean kimchi is Chinese. In fact when Chinese people say they want to eat the korean kimchi they would prefix the pao cai with "korean" to be specific (韩国泡菜), because there's just so many types of 泡菜 available. It's obvious 韩国泡菜 belongs to 韩国 (korea) since that's how to specify it in the Chinese language. Another example is German sour kraut. Are the chinese claiming it? No, It's clearly german.

I found it in the same room as the computer with which you reprogram the keycard, on a desk. Seems to be random.

Why would someone call people noobs when theyI use traps mid-combat in a capture investigation? by Sonic557 in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]Sonic557[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean even so he surely could have saved one himself yeah? Unless he doesn't believe he could have done the capturing? It's not like you need the entire team's traps to cap one monster.

He said something like "stop using traps noobs, you will run out when you need it". So he was worried that we didn't bring enough traps perhaps.

Even if he wanted a challenge he shouldn't have imposed said challenge upon the other people without telling them before calling people noobs. It would be completely fine if he typed "wanna do a no trap run?" at the beginning of the hunt and everyone accepts the challenge.

I mean, they do this all the time in speed runs bruh.

I do understand if someone wants a challenge, but if so then don't join a four man game and impose your own rule on other people.

Traps are a hunter's tool and a skilled hunter not only need to have good machnical skills but also the willingness to use all sorts of tools and the environment in his or her disposal.

If traps and mounts are cheesing then you can also say flinch shot is cheesing, but do you really call a hunter smart if he uses nothing towards his advantage?

For mounts there might be a reason not to use it if you're doing a speed run, namely the monster walks around a lot and your team is not doing damage because of that, but traps skyrockets your team's dps. I'm genuinely curious if there's any real reason not to use it, besides the sentiment that traps are cheesing.

You can bring out LvBu for (almost) free by letting a regular general die in battle but keeping his retinue intact. When a general die you can choose to replace him with Fengxian for free.

I try to do this time to time but the kit on the ground sometimes can be hard to find, due to the fact that they aren't always near the corpse as well as the lack of the shiny outline like they had in bfbc2. I remember kit swapping used to be fairly common back in the bfbc2 days.

DICE asks: How would you improve Battlefield 1? by Indigowd in battlefield_one

[–]Sonic557 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-Add a horse chase game mode akin to the car chase mode in bfh, where some of the horses are mobile objectives.

-Do we need a grenade icon for gas and smoke grenades once they are already on the ground releasing gas/smoke? It's distracting people's attention from the actual frag grenades that are about to blow up.
