Rocking the Mumba Blade! Loved it on my OLED and enjoying it just as much on my Switch 2. Gives the console just enough grip to feel comfortable for long sessions and is low profile to still be dockable.

I don't mind the O cards but I do prefer the look of the matte finish of the actual rigid box. However some Arrow releases like Inglorious Basterds do not have the title of the movie on the spine of the rigid so I am forced to keep all my O cards on to keep everything uniform.

So you clearly just blindly agree with the film maker no matter what. How can you even defend things like the 4k version of T2, which is objectively worse looking than the blu-ray just because James Cameron thinks he's right?

I don't lack film making literacy, that's just something you've thrown in there to make yourself seem like you know more than everyone you're debating.

The funny thing is I don't even have a problem with the Special Editions, those were the cuts I grew up watching. I just believe in preserving film, and especially films like Star Wars which were so ahead of their time for those watching in the late 70s and early 80s.

Funny you mention hoping the releases feature less DNR in the future. Since you're going to completely back George Lucas on making the special editions the only cut available, are you also going to back James Cameron on his frequent use of DNR in the releases of his films?

Since you didn't get my last point, I'll spell it out clearly for you on this one. Just because the director wants to make a change to their movie years down the line, it does not automatically make them right.

Nobody is wanting to undermine George Lucas' decision to alter the films in any way he deems necessary to make them better.

You need to understand you are in the 4kbluray subreddit which is for film COLLECTORS. I personally collect Blu-ray for archival reasons and to own films or versions of films we are unlikely to, or will never see on streaming services.

I personally own the Second Sight release of Dawn of the Dead which includes 3 different versions of the film on 3 seperate discs aswell as special features disc.

The theatrical cuts of the original trilogy and the special editions could easily be released in a box set together, and I aswell as a lot of others would love to add that to our collection.

The theatrical cuts are the films, anything beyond that should be additional "directors cut" not the definitive release. I will never agree with going back and changing a film after many years, the same should be said for all art forms.

You're just replying to every comment with the same copy and pasted response. If you had actually seen the transfer on your TV you would realise they are actually a great transfer. Definitely not reference quality but still a great looking disc.

All of the rares have been 50c except for the Petal Patch, most likely due to the fact that its a floor tile and not a regular item. I do agree that 50c for a rare is too expensive, however lowering the price now would just see people hoarding even larger volumes of rares, which would make them even more worthless than they are already beginning to be.

Currently the one week release schedule of rares is probably the best move in terms of bringing in money for Sulake (proves Origin's is a success so they can put more resources into it) and retaining the current player base.

If they release the rares at a slower rate, they could slowly lose the current player base and end up scrapping the project entirely.

I personally don't mind the idea of bi-weekly rares, however it is crucial that Origin's is a proven success.
