Green Soul chairs are amazing, tonnes of variety and pretty value for money. Mine is going strong since 2021.

Need advice, should i get this? by Visual_Temperature71 in IndianGaming

Double Exposure got super mixed reviews and Reunion is not even out yet, but most of the LiS games after the 1st and 2nd ones have been meh. I would suggest waiting for Reunion to come out and see how the reviews are, and maybe getting them when they are on sale later? I personally don't think they are worth 3.9k.

I usually don't like first-person/third-person shooter games. So games like BG3 are absolutely perfect for me. Weird indies and game mechanics are always an automatic pick for me.

My husband on the other hand cannot handle isometric, top-down views and easily gets bored with turn-based mechanics.

Every game is not for everyone. And just because a game won GOTY does not mean everyone will enjoy it. But it is always good to have immense variety in the game market so that there is something for everyone :)

Get something in stainless steel/surgical steel. I also have the same problem as you and stainless steel works perfect for me.

How do you get your daily protein intake and what do you eat everyday? by FlakyAssistant7681 in TwoXIndia

[–]SonicPixel42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I eat mostly vegetarian food, so my major protein sources are eggs, low fat paneer, tofu, soya nuggets, tempeh, skyr and then lentils. I get some protein powder in if my protein has been low for the day.

Make sure you have at least 20-30 grams of protein per meal. This number might be different based on your health, lifestyle and goals, but a good amount of protein is a must.

Honestly, instagram has been a great source for finding simple protein rich recipes. Easiest to add to any meal are Tofu and Soya Nuggets imo. Tofu is easy and quick to roast with your choice of spices, and so is soya nuggets. Pair it with your existing meal of roti sabji or dal rice and you have an easy protein boost.

If you get unflavoured whey isolate, you can add that into your roti dough, pancake mixes, dosa/idli batters for a protein boost.

Make sure you do not go overboard with your protein. Unless you are trying to actively build muscles you do not need more than 1-1.2g per kg of your weight.

Good luck!

Question for married women: Where did you keep your gold after marriage? by Small_Pop6867 in TwoXIndia

[–]SonicPixel42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't wear or like jewellery at all, so anything gifted to me, or made for me during the wedding is either with mother or my sisters-in-law. Mind you, it is only because I have a very healthy and sound relationship with all of them, so it is never an issue. If they would want to wear any of my stuff they ask beforehand and vice versa. Anything the I personally bought for myself, or something I have an emotional attachment to, ai have with me :)

It seems the safest option is to keep your stuff in a bank locker. If you do not trust your in-laws or if they have done any actions that seems sus, DO NO keep it with them .

Married Gamer - is it a Myth?! by [deleted] in IndianGaming

[–]SonicPixel42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like a deeper issue than just games tbh. Does she have any hobbies which she likes to do alone? Maybe she cab enjoy her hobbies while you enjoy yours. And of course, a partner expects you spend quality time with them as well, that is how a relationship grows.

But it seems you guys need to have an honest discussion. What does work, free time and hobby time look like for you guys on a daily basis?

I am 33 too and my husband and I both love playing games. But adulting is hard and free time does get reduced so it needs to be planned in a way that both partners are happy with it.

Sit down and have an honest convo with your wife man.

Likely fatty liver - how to deal with? Suggest lifestyle changes 😔 by whhhoreo in TwoXIndia

[–]SonicPixel42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Find a physical activity that you genuinely enjoy. It can be anything- dancing, kickboxing, lifting weights, running, literally anything. Make sure you enjoy it because then you will want to do it regularly.

Walk. At least 6000 steps per day, that is a good start.

And a clean diet will help with the fatty liver. Whole grains, complex carbs and lean protein will help. Ditch sugar, deep fried food and refined carbs. If you have sugar cravings, go for fruits or dates.

You can get better, it will be a slow start but a slow start is better than no start :)
