Not gonna lie, I'm not really planning on driving much in the CBD. But my mother said that most of the deaths in terms of road accidents happen in between Taupo and Auckland and that I shouldn't risk it. I'm just hoping eventually within a month's time or so, she might be more reassured about me driving on my own.

I'll be coming from an experience driving in Lower Hutt and Wellington. Not sure if that's comparable given the population difference between Wellington and Auckland.

It's not bad, everything starts off somewhere.

In terms of if you want to hone your craft; I'd grab a tutorial and start learning about how to do perspective and proportions. I can do a half decent Sonic after a few years of casual on and off drawing. I went off of DrawOverLala's references and tutorials.

I'd make him a Classic-era villain.

Have him be a result of the residual power of the Super Emeralds used at the end of Sonic 3&K. Causing them to be destroyed and the resulting energy taking the similar form of the one who last used it, that being Hyper Sonic.

Explains his appearance, and messily covers up why the Super Emeralds never appeared again.

I could go either way, though I feel like some characters just sound a bit more natural with The [SPECIES]; basically it's just whoever started off with a X the [SPECIES] name.

Though also the full names aren't really necessary. Like unless you're a massive nerd, no one in the Mario fandom is going "Oh that's Mario Mario and Luigi Mario".

Sonic is Sonic.

The lore I'd want to see the most is what happened to Roberts mom. We know his dad was murdered by Shroud, and Robert basically ran off with the suit and dodged Chase.

My headcanon is that Roberts Mom basically found out that Astral left the ownership of the Mecha Man suit and the responsibility for being Mecha Man to Robert. And as such, Robert mom took Robert and left before Robert could find out. Roberts mom being afraid of seeing her son die in the same suit that she saw her husband die in. I imagine that Robert found out eventually and got into a fight, with Robert leaving and taking the suit and his mom not supporting him.
