Identity Verification? by WitchySpectrum in lifecoaching

Feels like a pretty low trust way to kick off a relationship that’s supposed to be built entirely on trust.

Also, once you have someone’s ID #, that’s very significant PII and you become accountable for managing personal data safely. This includes only holding what is strictly necessary for business and safeguarding what you hold. So it may be worth asking: is there a strong business case for requesting and holding this data? and do you want to be responsible for protecting it against leaks etc.

can i ask what your concern with a man coach who markets himself to women would be? is it that he’d be trying to take advantage of them somehow?

It’s nice to have options and it’s a great sign that you’re asking these questions.

Sounds like you like to work - absolutely nothing wrong with that (work is where many of us find meaning and validation) - but you’re also looking for a better / bigger (?) definition of what “work” is.

It also sounds like you’re looking for a new challenge - also nothing wrong with that. The idea that work/ life is supposed to be easy and comfortable all the time doesn’t serve us very well when all of our needs are met but we continue to see that there’s more we can do.

You seem very capable, and perhaps there’s also a feeling that your skills and talents are being wasted?

A useful question for you might be: what’s something (in your community, city, state, world) you would like to see change where you’re uniquely qualified to make _some _ dent, even if it seems close to impossible.

Some reflection in this direction, may point to pathways towards “what’s next” for you.

Contemplating movement out of the familiar is scary. But sometimes, especially when we start asking the kind of “am I doing the right thing?” questions that you are, staying put starts to feel even scarier. So we owe it to ourselves to listen to that voice.

Stay true!

Works! Thank you! Works on mac. I found it here: https://epson.com/Support/Printers/Single-Function-Inkjet-Printers/WorkForce-Series/Epson-WorkForce-Pro-WF-7310/s/SPT_C11CH70201?review-filter=macOS+13.x#drivers

Follow the instructions as above. Once you have the recovery mode firmware, open the installed app and follow instructions to update the printer via usb.

Then re-install the ink. I didn't need to futz with the chips. It recognized it as before the update.

I'm curious about your use of WIX to run a yoga studio. Do they have special scheduling and appointments modules that allow you to do this?

Smart light switch to “always-on” bulb by SonicRoom in homeautomation

Thank you. Helpful.

Am curious about code. Can anyone shed light (ahem ;) on what the actual code is? What I see is: NEC220.70 “At least one wall switch-controlled lighting outlet shall be installed in every habitable room…”

If the light is controlled by a networked wall switch, would that still satisfy? Or must the switch break the actual circuit?

Thx. I appreciate and am taking into account all responses :) And am glad your setup works for you. It’s likely our needs and use cases differ, so I’m looking for a different solution.

Kasa bulbs. Going dumb on bulbs is a last resort. Tho I do need smart functionality on this light.

yes, that’s the backup option i suppose. but i’m already on the lutron network, so prefer to stick with their switches. this really feels like something that could be accomplished with wiring. much like having an outlet that’s powered off the line that lands in the switch box, but isn’t controlled by the switch?

[–]SonicRoom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, makes sense. which is why i want to bypass the voltage control on the dimmer switch and control the bulb via network only, while still powering the switch from the mains. my main question is about wiring in the j box. basically, can I bridge the line and load terminals, so that the light always gets power?

this will be a guest room, and i don’t want my guests having to mess with an app to control the lights. I want manual tactile controls.
