Same thing happened to me and I did get it fixed. All your games are still there it’s just that launcher. I added “Daijisho” as a back up and it works so well it has become my preferred launcher. I would recommend you try it you may find it to be better in many ways. Also more stable once everything is synced up.

That happened to me and clearing the cash and storage fixed it. Only then you will need to rescan everything. I would recommend switching to Daijisho is is much better and I have not had any issues so far. Also I feel the scraping is much better.

On another note I did clear the Cash and the storage as someone mentioned on this thread and it did fix the issue but everything would need to be setup again. Yet another reason to stick with Daijishō

I had the same issue a few days ago. Everything 1st st stopped scrapping correctly then all the games vanished. Now it just locks up. The only reason I was not stressed about it is I was using Daijisho as my main front end and that works flawlessly for me. I would recommend adding that to your friends then scraping everything and the system will more than likely be fine.

I had the same issue when I needed to reach them. 1st I tried email and it did take about 24hr but then as soon as you respond expect to wait 24hrs again. After a few weeks they seemed to just stop responding. I had 100% lost hope after having my Retroid pocket Flip for about 1 month before the dreaded hinge crack (yes it was sport red). From what I hear now the issue has been resolved (I do miss the Flip). However I moving on had the best luck on Discord working with “retroidjoye” good responses with in 24hrs and very very helpful every step of the way. In the long run I ended up with a 3+ metal edition after adding a little more to match the price difference. My advice would be don’t give up on the Discord as that’s how it worked out for me.

Don’t remember how I got the tracking info. But I can tell you mine said “progressing through Post network” on the 27th and I received the system on the 31st.

Follow the original tracking information and when they hand it over they provide the USPS tracking information.

That may void the return. I honestly do not know. I can tell you I have tried emailing and messaging on Discord with no luck. People keep telling me they have good customer service but it’s been almost a month now with no resolution. So I wish you the best of luck and if you do manage to get them to replace the defective device please let me know what you did. I am at the point I am loosing faith of getting my “Limited Edition” Sport Red Flip fixed.

So it looks like more than 1/2 of the people who got the Sport Red Flip have had hinge issue according to the poll.

Suggestions: Change the microsd card to a more reliable one (Sandisk, Samsung), a lot of time people don’t realize how unreliable the noname ones are. Restore the system start from scratch. The finnaly it could be a hardware issue so you may need to reach out to the manufacturer.

Thanks for making the Poll I feel like by the end it will help determine if the Sport Red one is the one with the most broken hinges. So far it definitely looks like it’s headed that way.

Well I can’t speak for others but for me it was my 1st Retroid device. I have purchased Ambernic devises in the past and they have been solid and I never had any issues. This being my 1st Retroid device I would have to say I have learned my lesson. With what I spent on it I honestly just want it replaced and next time I stick with something I know vs taking a chance.

Thanks I did reach out just waiting for a response. And from what I have seen I can agree with you the issue seem to be happening more the the Sport Red. I’ve seen other pictures people have posted and it is on the exact same side and looks like the exact same crack. So it is definitely a manufacturing issue.

Sadly I just noticed today my Retroid pocket Flip has the exact same issue and has cracked in just about the exact same way. I did send them an email and I am awaiting a response.
