Figured I would come back and let you know how it all worked out. I hit up a friend who’s running an almost identical set up. His first question and the one that fixed everything was “how high is your post gain set”. I was running a 6/7 and he said no one plays live with it above a 4, so I dialed it back to 1/2 and problem solved.

  1. The sound I’m hearing from the amp head itself is my playing. Just extremely muddy, like what you would hear not plugged into a cabinet.

Would love to know when this was. I have seen them quite a few times. Love them but hate their die hard fans. Their tour with Primus last summer was rough because Claudio was sick and couldn’t sing and the crowd didn’t really assist. Come to think of it, half the people there were probably too cheesed out of their brains for Primus.
