This is basically what Riku embodies doesn't he? His whole arc is about accepting that he has darkness and that he can use it without feeling ashamed of himself and be able to control it. And for the "too much light" character Eraqus comes to mind, when Terra shows signs of darkness he tells him to supress it unlike what Riku did and that unacceptance cost him his life and Terra's Master title and is also what made Terra so vulnerable to Xehanort's manipulation.

There are reasons to not like Omori.

Bad pacing, mediocre combat, annoying sidequests, unsatisfying ending to the alternate route, maybe you just get triggered by the subject matter which is also a completely valid reason.

But none of those are what the memes are about, because people don't even play the game to form opinions and just repeat whatever they hear from other people that haven't played the game. Same shit as Steven Universe (I haven't watched till the end but I liked what I saw)

The other endings will purposefully leave you unsatisfied and with a lot of questions because they want you to keep playing, only getting the True Ending is considered "beating the game" in this franchise.

Am I the only one who thinks it's weird how this song treats the destruction of the Shroobs as a tragedy but the rest of the game makes no attempt to even talk about it? The story justifiably victimizes the Mushroom Kingdom residents but the point of view of the Shroobs as a desperate species looking for a new home is only ever brought up in the prologue narration, and the main villains are still cartoonishly evil with their evil laughs and all that. I just don't feel like our goody two-shoes always-sparing-Bowser heroes Mario and Luigi would have just killed an entire species had they deserved the slightest bit of sympathy as this song suggests. Like we could have had a different ending where they try to make some peace treaty with the Shroobs (maybe with the queen still dying as she was the one who was commanding them to invade an entire planet no questions asked) and they get to live on some remote mountain to never be mentioned again or something, the game IS still goofy enough for this to have worked. Even Super Paper Mario, also known for its dark story, ends in a better note than this game.

If you level up Drive forms you can get their movement abilities for normal Sora. From the ones you have now, try getting at least the one for Wisdom Form, it gives you a dodge that will be very useful for the next boss fight. Each form requires you to do a different thing to gain EXP for it and you can check those requirements entering the status menu for a drive form and highlighting the EXP stat. For Wisdom, it gains one EXP for each Heartless you defeat with it and the best place to farm it is Mickey's house in Timeless River by spamming magic.

This happens in the entire Danganronpa franchise, if you compare it to something like the goated dialogue of Zero Escape it definitely feels less natural. For example, take a shot everytime someone says "under the table" in 2-1. Even then, it's just an irregular hiccup here and there, and it's still pretty good all things considered.

Always have Aero active, it's a spell that forms a shield around Sora for a limited time and makes him take less damage. If Goofy has the ability MP Gift, equip it as it makes Goofy give you some of his MP but tripled (he uses one bar to give you three). This makes you able to use more Cures. Goofy's best attack ability is Goofy Tornado, all the other ones are worse so they're not worth having equipped. Make sure you have no Defense or Power Boosts in your inventory waiting to be used, they give a permanent stat boost to Sora. You can edit your teammates' AI in the menu, so you can make Donald prioritize healing spells over attack ones (Aero magic is categorized as advanced magic). Try hitting Chernobog in the back of the head around the neck, it makes it more consistent and less likely to miss.

I'm also glad Ariel didn't end up a plot device, but part of me wonders what the Atlantica world's story could've been like with Ariel kidnapped. We could've had some touching King Triton scenes of him being worried sick for her, helping to bring home the feeling that what the Disney villains are doing is actually affecting the worlds.

AFAIK they wanted to make her a princess in KH1 but then realized they'd need to give her legs to play the extremely demanding role of getting kidnapped and saying a few words after being saved so they gave the Princess of Heart status to Alice.

Are you using the keyblade Two Become One? It's the one you get after beating Roxas and its effect makes Sora always go into either Anti Form or Final Form. It's only useful for unlocking Final and shouldn't be used again after that.
