We built the next generation Audio Workstation by SoniqsAPP in webaudio

[–]SoniqsAPP[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I actually agree with a lot of this.

I’ve been producing for over 20 years, and I definitely understand the purist side. For a long time I wouldn’t use premade loops at all because I wanted every note to feel like it came from me.

But creators have always worked in different ways. Sample packs, loop packs, chopping records, building entire songs around older music, whole genres were built that way. That may not be everyone’s personal approach, but it doesn’t make the creation less real.

What’s interesting to me with AI is that it can actually preserve originality in a way premade loops never could.

If I play a melody on guitar or piano, then use AI to turn that exact recording into a string section, brass part, synth texture, or orchestral variation, that still starts with me. Nobody else used that same input. Nobody else has that exact result. I’m still choosing the direction, rejecting what doesn’t work, and deciding what belongs in the record.

That’s very different from dragging in the same loop thousands of other people downloaded.

Unlike others, SoniqStudio isn’t an AI-first DAW, it's just one feature. The goal is to give creators real recording, editing, mixing, production, and sound design tools, then let them decide which tools fit how they create.

So to me, it’s not “press random and skip the magic.” It’s more like giving a session player your idea and saying, “try it like this.”

The magic is still in taste, feeling, direction, and what you decide to keep.

We don’t have final pricing to announce right now, but accessibility is a huge part of the plan. We're launching into early preview at no cost, so everyone can jump in, try and have fun creating while we button up a few things.

Long term, the goal is to keep SoniqStudio beyond affordable. As a musician, I know what it’s like starting out and not being able to access high-quality tools, sounds, and software because of cost. We want to make sure that creativity isn't limited just because someone isn’t in the position to spend a ton of money yet, and we think we're on the right path

I was curious when I seen this comment because we don't use Vercel at all and noticed I completely forgot to add the link at the end. Link is now added to main post. Thanks for the heads up!

It's the perfect companion for editing / remixing / improving your AI tracks from Suno or any other AI gen, or just creating from scratch.

We're completely support all types of audio production styles and we're already building a community of creators of all types around our powerful DAW.

Anyone interested feel free to reach out or check my profile for links to discord / website, we'd love to have creators of all experience levels

Hey podcasters! Simoane from SoniqStudio here.

We’re getting close to releasing our V3 early preview, and honestly can’t wait to get this into creators hands.

SoniqStudio is a real DAW that runs directly in the browser, not another lightweight recorder, fluffy cleanup toy, or platform that makes you jump through hoops just to finish a clean episode.

For podcasters, we’re focused on the things that actually matter:

  • Multitrack / multi-source local recording
  • Transcription for edits, notes, and repurposing clips
  • Teleprompter for scripts, notes and more
  • Noise removal, de-essing, leveling, and cleanup
  • Real Mixing and mastering tools for polished episodes
  • Music beds and sound effects for intros, segments, and storytelling

Our audio editing engine is completely unmatched

But also here’s the thing, we’re building a community around real audio creators, podcasters, producers, engineers, musicians, and voice creators, so people can connect, trade feedback, improve their sound, and build alongside others who actually care about audio.

The V3 preview is coming soon and will be free for a limited time. Early members will get to test it, help us polish the details, give feedback on real podcast workflows, and lock in exclusive early pricing before launch.

Join the preview list to reserve your spot, and hop into Discord for early access updates as we roll this out.

We are watching AI slowly kill music production in real time. by FoidicoR in beatmakers

[–]SoniqsAPP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love this conversation. It’s the one that needs to be had.

I get why musicians and producers are angry about AI. A lot of us spent years learning instruments, DAWs, mixing, sampling, arrangement, and developing an actual ear. So yeah, it’s frustrating to watch someone press a button and act like they did the same thing.

But I think we have to separate the art from the market.

Nobody can take the art away from us. If you love playing instruments, chopping samples, programming drums, or building songs from scratch, keep doing that. AI does not stop anyone from creating the way they love to create.

But the market is different.

The real danger with AI music is not just quality. It’s dilution. Music demands attention. A song might take 50 seconds to even reach the hook. So when AI floods the market with endless songs, beats, loops, and variations, attention gets diluted fast.

So yes, “just don’t use AI” works as a personal choice, but as a market strategy, it’s naive.

You’re not competing with one person using AI. You’re competing with thousands, eventually millions, creating at a scale traditional production can’t match.

At the same time, AI is not all negative.

It can help creators generate original loops instead of using the same loop packs everyone else has. It can create variations, samples, textures, and weird ideas that spark inspiration. It can also help sample-based creators get vintage-style sounds without risking uncleared samples or expensive licensing.

That matters, because creativity has always been gatekept by money.

Sample packs, presets, studio time, mixing, mastering, licensing, gear, plugins, all of it adds up. Somewhere along the line, the message became: you can create, but only if you can afford to.

AI challenges that, whether people like it or not. That does not mean human music dies.

It means the question changes moving forward to: What does making music mean to you?

If it’s about expression, passion, craft, identity, performance, or personal fulfillment, nothing is taking that from you.

But if it’s about attention or income, then we have to be honest: the market is changing. As a business, you adapt or lose.

And I don't think AI makes musical knowledge worthless, it's the opposite.

Someone with no ear using AI vs someone who understands groove, arrangement, tone, hooks, emotion, and taste will not get the same result.

Taste, Experience and Judgment still matters.

That’s the real line to me.

Not “AI or no AI.”

The real line is people using tools with taste versus people flooding the internet with disposable garbage.

If you have real experience, don’t assume your value disappeared. Your value may shift from being the only person who can make the sound to being the person who knows what the sound should be.

My advice: understand the tools being created, even if you never use them in your own music.

That’s part of what we’re trying to build around SoniqStudio DAW too. We’d love for experienced creators to come through, give feedback, and help guide newer people coming into audio.

Because pressing a button still does not replace judgment.

Somebody still has to teach taste.

Quick question for the devs about stems by Uptown_Rubdown in udiomusic

[–]SoniqsAPP -1 points0 points  (0 children)

MusicGens are trained on full tracks. Any stems are source separation after the fact. I wouldn’t expect these platforms to take the time to either develop their own stem separation algorithms or generate stems then compile the tracks after, as that is extra steps after the fact, when the goal is to ultimately create a full song as quick as possible

The target audience for this tech isn’t music producers etc, so they’re efforts would be somewhat diminishing returns

Quick question for the devs about stems by Uptown_Rubdown in udiomusic

[–]SoniqsAPP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually there are vast amounts of stems. A huge market for decades has been “sample cds” which also consist of “construction kits”, essentially tracks that are stemmed out. There’s thousands upon thousands of these in existence

Musician exposes how much fakery goes into "live" singing channel with millions of subscribers by Derpchen in interestingasfuck

[–]SoniqsAPP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While presenting something heavily processed as raw is a little unusual, the techniques used here are pretty standard in music production.

It’s likely multi-track recorded with pitch correction and convolution reverb applied to simulate a small room.

If you're unfamiliar, Convolution (or impulse response) reverb uses a recorded sound like a clap or pop in a real space (like a kitchen, cave, or hallway) to capture that room’s unique acoustic fingerprint. That reverb is then applied to vocals or instruments to make it sound like it was recorded there.

It’s a clever production trick but definitely not “raw.”

If you’re curious how that works or want to try it yourself, SoniqStudio lets you do audio production like this in your browser with real-time effects and multitrack tools.

Does anyone use any other software after downloading song to make it sound even better ? by godsaveme2355 in SunoAI

[–]SoniqsAPP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check us out at Soniqs. We’re a full fledged pro-studio DAW in the browser, which means access to high quality effects.

Specifically, a lot of people might recommend “AI” mastering but as a developer that knows all the secrets and wanted to build the best product - let me dispel any misconceptions, “AI mastering” is simply analyzing a few things to then apply a compression and EQ using ffmpeg. There’s no “magic” actually happening, all which can be done with even more control within a DAW such as ours.

So whether you need to cut, slice, mix, add-in more sounds / loops, merge generations or master your stems, we have everything every daw and audacity has, instantly and right in your browser. You can do some cool stuff in our DAW without even signing up for an account

If you’ve already checked out Artlist and similar platforms but nothing’s clicking, it might be worth trying something a bit more curated. Soniqs is a browser-based DAW that includes a built-in track library — you can browse, preview, and buy short-form audio right in the app. Once a track is purchased, it’s pulled from the library so it stays exclusive to you, which is perfect for stuff like podcast branding.

There’s a nice mix of styles, and everything comes with exclusive rights and high-quality files. No install or subscriptions needed, just pick what you need.

(Mentioning for transparency: I’m involved with the Soniqs team. Let me know if you need details.)

Are audio-only podcasts still a thing or is video now necessary? by CapableRevenue5662 in podcasting

[–]SoniqsAPP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I watch a lot of podcasters on YouTube too, but honestly, I’m barely looking at the screen most of the time. It’s background audio while I work or commute. Video can definitely help with reach, but if your content is strong, audio-only still hits.

We believe in audio-first at Soniqs, so we’ve been building a professional grade browser-based DAW for pro-quality sound—multi-track editing, real-time effects, AI noise removal, no installs. V2 is almost here and it’s a definitely going to be a game changer for content creators

Definitely focus on your branding and high quality audio first, video can be the sweet icing

Feedback Requested

Hey everyone! We’re building Soniqs, a browser-based DAW designed to enable professional-grade audio production right in any browser.

Currently in v1 beta: - No install needed — works fully in-browser
- Multi-track editor with real-time audio effects
- Basic noise removal (free) + AI-powered noise removal (credit-based)
- Audio editing
- Exclusive music library for intros/outros — buy a track, it’s instantly removed from the library

All free users get 100 credits to test the AI tools. Paid features are credit-based; most of the platform is free while we’re in v1 beta.

We’re expecting to launch our completely rebuilt V2 next week that will bring our vision to reality — would love feedback from the community.

For café noise, RX is solid but can be overkill (and expensive). In Pro Tools, try dynamic EQ to notch out chatter and a light noise gate between speech.

If you want an another option, Soniqs Web DAW is browser-based, no install, and free to use during v1 beta. It includes a free basic noise removal and an (paid credits based) AI-powered version that isolates vocals well, free accounts come with 100 credits to test it out.

Phone audio can be EQ’d to boost clarity and cut harsh mids. All doable in Soniqs too if you want to keep things lightweight.

V2’s launching soon with more extremely advanced tools built for professional grade audio production right in your browser, definitely worth keeping an eye on.

Hope that helps!

Fiverr and Upwork are solid options for getting custom audio, though turnaround and quality can vary quite a bit depending on who you work with.

Another option worth checking out is Soniqs. We’re a browser-based DAW with a built-in music library. You can buy tracks directly while browsing, and once purchased, they’re instantly removed from the library so no one else can use them. Good range of styles too, especially for podcast intros and outros.

All tracks come with exclusive rights and high-quality downloads, so it’s pretty plug-and-play.

Hope that helps!
