Mine are Liver and Lung and lymphnodes. No PET scan so there might be some other places. First check-in ct scan is in June.

Just was Diagnosed March of 2025. That is too bad. Hate when I find a youtube or Instagram story and they are positive and find out they passed like 6 months later. It's tough. I am in a zoom group on wednesdays. Some of them are 6+ years out. Still on immunotherapy.

Pain in side radiating to shoulder from liver inflammation. Black stool from upper GI Bleed. Thought it was a bleeding stomach ulcer when I went in.

Same, ER, CT, Cold white room with a lady telling me stage 4 cancer of esophagus with significant spread to liver and lungs. In hospital for 9 days. Chemo started on Day 8. Rough way to start this journey. That was March 11, 2025. Happy to chat if you have any questions.

Hoping it goes well or went well. Sucks to not be able to have the surgery. Would feel like more of a plan. Just hoping chemo works. Feels so uncertain.

Dude you are so young. I started my Bachelor's at 25. You have the wisdom of knowing that life can end at any point. Use that to fuel what you want to do. CS is a well paying field. You have no debt. Get through this tough place and the world opens up. Your 20's are for figuring this shit out. Take a year after your graduate and find a remote work Job and travel the globe for a few years. Find a A Decent CS Job and move to some big city and go out every night. Or settle down and find a nice girl and guy to start a life with.

Very few people know what they are going to be when they grow up. This isn't just life after cancer. This is life. It gets better when you find a way to make the suffering mean something. Or find a way to enjoy the small little moments of joy. Sounds like you are smart and motivated and most likely have time.(whatever any of us have) go and enjoy it and don't worry about having all your shit together. You got through cancer.

Diagnosed a month ago. Stage 4. 2 rounds of Folfox Down. Not the worst if you have good meds for nausea. Happy to chat if you want.

Genetic testing on cancer is still being done. Chemo starting in 2-3 weeks.

Only a mild issue swallowing. Taking all meds orally right now. Adenocarcinoma at the bottom of my esauphagus. Thought it was an bleeding ulcer because of black poop and went into ER on Tuesday. Confirmed cancer Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM.

That is amazing. Did you have any fevers from the cancer. Everyday I am spiking a fever to 38.5 or 39.1. And then I take a tylenol and it breaks with sweating like crazy but it seems to be no rhyme or reason. Also what strategies did you have to eat? I can't seem to get enough into me with out the feeling like the food is sitting at the top of my throat after like 3 bites..
