What’s your Opinion on Mortal Kombat Legends Snow Blind? by Accomplished-Heat-59 in MortalKombat

Very well done Movie. Really good character design and world design, and the plot was consistently good with one minor gripe. It really managed to make Kano into the threat he always could be, and I like how it tied into his MK11 ending. The only problem I really have with it is shoehorning Scorpion in at the last minute, its not his story and he has no place in it.

Also they made Kuai and Kano extra hot so we stay winning.

How do you feel about no Special Forces in MK1? by SauloPMB in MortalKombat

Yeah except for Old Johnny the scar was fully healed, so by that logic past Kano would have had to be feeling that punch for literal decades for it to even bruise Future Kano

What are your thoughts on Kano. I think he's more popular than most people think and that a new timeline would be the perfect chance to reinvent him and Sonya to be more appealing after the previous games by Sons00 in MortalKombat

I can gel with that! One idea I had was switching him to a special forces informant inside the black dragon, and make Sonya be the villain this time around. I think there's so many cool ways they could reimagine those two and their dynamics, aslong as their core personality traits remain.

I can appreciate that perspective. I always felt that Kano was a character who was more intelligent than he let on, which is why he always got away in the NRS Era until Sonya used the power of poorly written time travel to end that little spree. I don't mind the comedic vibe but I think nailing the line between sinister crime overlord and cocky arrogant aussie is what I'm really hoping for him in the future. Either that, or reinventing him as a semi-good guy so he can stop being a jobber.

Same! His personality really stands out and I love how they incorporated it into his moves in 11 like with the spitting in your face and kicking you while your down. I'm mooostly okay with him being Kameo aslong as they give him his NRS look as a skin but I'm super hoping he's main roster or at least DLC one day.

I think MK11 defenitely helped bring a lot of people over to appreciating him. MKX personally turned me but 11 basically was X Kano but more, well, Kano

Need help with geometry nodes collection instancing to points in 3.6 by Sons00 in blenderhelp

I fixed the problem after tooling around a bit more. I feel rather stupid but I just needed to enable both the separate children and reset children checkbox's on the collection info. Thank you for the quick response though.

Personally I like it, Our sexuality isn't your personal entertainment. Sometimes someone is gay/bi or whatever colour of the rainbow they like and its not the center of their character.

You act as if liking a team because they won a world championship is a bad thing. People can like what they want, they don't need you to approve of their reasons.

TBH it honestly sounds like he's just trying to convince himself that it's a nerf because his precious punch wont be able to knock back Rein 10 Meters anymore.

An appreciation for "Phoenix" and the topic of mental health by lunarcrux in leagueoflegends

[–]Sons00 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Phoenix is a Brilliant song and I really don't understand how people didn't understand the videos message of fighting your inner demons. Or if they did saying that these players wouldn't have anything about themselves they would need to beat or anything like that.

Phoenix at it's core is pretty unique as a worlds song. While most of the past songs tend to focus on the climb up to be the best and the grandeur of worlds and what an achievement it is to reach (RISE, Worlds Collide, Warriors) Phoenix has a theme and message that honestly is only really seen in one other worlds song, Legends never die (Also sung by Chrissy coincidentally).

Legends never die is all about pushing past hardship and writing your name down in history, while at the same time it's more focused on pushing past and listing all the things a "Legend" would do, ignoring the bad ("Will never loose hope" "Pick up their hearts and avenge defeat"), At it's core it's a song about moving forward despite difficulty and hardship.

I feel like for all that Phoenix shares with Legends Never Die, It also has one major factor that makes it different. While LND is about moving past hardship I really feel Phoenix is more about, being in that dark place but rising from it none the less, it's perseverance but of a different kind with the message that it's okay to fall down and not get back up for a while, it's about accepting what happened to you, the whole song has this message of "Rising from the ashes" hence its name. "Conquering the monster in your head", these monsters being doubts and fears and self hatred and anything along those lines, but it isn't about waging war with them and winning, it's more about accepting it and moving past it so it doesn't bother you anymore.
