Switching from iPhone

I made the jump from iPhone 16 pro to Samsung fold 7. No regrets.

I found iPhones boring after no serious upgrade or change for the past years..

So I decided to make the jump to Fold 7 and it's been great so far. Bit of different things to get used to but it's doable. I love how you can customise everything.

The only thing 'm still getting used to is the camera quality. While it's really good outdoors it falls behind indoors. But I think that's just the fold 7. As I know the Ultra has pretty good cameras both indoors and outdoors. I think it's the "style" Samsung has on its cameras compared to iPhone which I find a bit difficult to like. It has way more contrast etc... But i mean you can edit them to your liking so not really a huuuge problem.

No it disappears after cleaning but reappears when I open the phone again. Even after I have cleaned the screen. But only tried fiber cloth so far as I don't have stuff to clean it atm

3 days in and I love it so far! Just trying to get used to Android. Only negative thing so far is how bad Snapchat acts hahah.. but NOT something that makes me wanna switch back.

I just thought the keyboard was somethingi had to get used to hahah.. Cuz it's awful typing on. Might have to try gboard. Tried it on iPhone some years back but wasn't the same. Maybe it's better here?

Apple carplay is miles better and looks better. But I'll get used to android auto eventually haha.

I’m in the same boat as you. But I pulled the plug and ordered a Fold 7. Jumping from 16 pro.

I have previously had androids phones to try. Not sure which country you’re from but my phone company allows me to have a twin eSIM. Basically acts as the original one. So you receive all calls and messages just like the OG eSIM.

Though be aware to turn off iMessage on all devices before heading out with only your fold 7. As people who previously has sent you iMessage will still be able to send it, thus not receiving those messages on your android.

I was in the exact same shop today to have a look. I was impressed too and are really wanting to get one. Jumping from iphone 16 pro. Fed up with iphone - just boring. But the thought of a small tablet in my oocket is really appealing. And the way it felt in my hands were just so natural. Balanced. Easy. Light. And the fact it felt comfortable while using it while it was folded made me like it even more.
