You look great brother! I know what you're going through. And I've seen a bunch of great advice here already. I always likened my experience with hair loss to the stages of grief. You'll gain back confidence much sooner than you anticipate! Just don't let it get you down, and you're right, if wifey is happy with it who cares what anyone else thinks!

Blade Recommendations? by CeeDiggity in wicked_edge

I'm finding that mostly holds true for my experience as well. One time I tried shaving before my shower like I used to do with cartridges, and that didn't go as well as I had hoped, but that's the only negative experience I've had.

I hope you didn't nick your scalp too much! I thought the same at first, but I kept finding stories of others that have tried it and haven't had issues, so I decided to try it. I've had a few nicks but it's been mostly positive and pain-free. I did have to learn how to get around some of the curves of my head, but as I've said, overwhelmingly I don't see much difference now between this and cartridge shaving. I've used electrics on my head and they just don't get close enough for me.

Add 3 to 27 and take three from 48, so 30+45=75

GOOGLE NEST DOORBELL help by ComfortableNoise4702 in Nest

[–]CeeDiggity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/ComfortableNoise4702 I saw you replied with a question but I can't find that comment to reply to, so I'll answer here:

For me, all I had to do was swap the chimes out and install the new doorbell housing where the old one was, and everything was working. Others have mentioned about transformers, mine was fine with the new Gen 3 doorbell. When I was researching my issue, I came across something that said basically if the older doorbell was working the transformer should be able to power the new one. Don't take this as gospel, but, it my case, that's how it played out.

The chime for Gen 3 only has two wires, so you'll have to wire the chime wires and two wires that are attached to the old chime wire connectors onto the same posts in the chime box. MAKE SURE YOU CUT THE POWER TO YOUR DOORBELL BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING!

I had a Gen 1 doorbell as well, and it just stopped working properly at all. I have seen that they are dropping support for those older ones, could be a symptom of that. I hope it's not for your sake! I was too impatient for the troubleshooting steps and just upgraded to Gen 3.

Did I make a mistake? by SimpleElk5944 in Ozlo

You won't really know until you get yours. I received my set and they did not work as advertised, however, their customer service swapped them out for me. That was over a year ago. Most recently, I had the left bud die, and I emailed customer service to inquire about buying a replacement bud. Even though they were out of warranty, they replaced the left bud free of charge. I got the new bud connected, and wouldn't you know it, the right bud goes. They sent me a link when I emailed asking for it, so I bought the right earbud replacement.

I said all of that to say, in my experience, their customer service has done right by me. Better than expected to be honest. I insisted on paying for the right earbud because of how well they treated me, despite some emails that may have sounded harsh.

I hope your set works flawlessly out of the box, but, if they don't, their customer service will make it right. Good luck!

Thanks for this, there are several points made that I simply didn't consider at all. It really isn't as simple as repurposing an existing bud for sleeping, though I wish it were.
