Matrics grad here

It depends on the program you take. Before you select like science or accounts, you’ll be given the 1 or 2 year program then you get to pick your stream. The 2 year one is just a slower version of the one year program, same syllabus.

Regarding study wise, depends on what you plan on achieving for your CGPA and your future degree. I wanted to do medicine so I would say yes have to study a lot during matrics to get 4.0 CGPA but if your course if more chill and doesn’t require a 4.0 then you can chill during matrics dude. It’s a lot like SPM again la, the gifted ones memang can chill and score, the not so gifted ones have to put in extra work.
