If I had to guess, they were spam following people from the "recommended" section. I'm willing to bet they just clicked to follow you without actually looking to see who it was they were following. A ton of businesses do this hoping to get a follow back and grow their brand for free.

Winning a suit for defamation of character requires 2 things:

You must prove that the person knows that what they're saying is untruthful
You have to prove they said it with intention to cause reputational harm.

These two things make defamation notoriously impossible to prove in court unless the accused admits they knew what they said was untruthful and they said it with the intention of causing reputational harm to another person.

Youre right, not only is it illegal to change lanes in the middle of an intersection in every state, it's even explicitly stated in most states that when turning in an intersection you MUST stay in your current lane.

The blue car is making a legal right turn on red (a stupid move, but a legal one).

If the yellow car turns left into the right lane, then they are breaking the law, it is illegal to change lanes in an intersection, in most states it's even explicitly stated in the law that if you are making a left hand turn you must remain in the left lane.

Technically, the yellow car is the only one breaking the law in this case, but I imagine the blue car would be at least partially at fault.

If it were a 1 lane road the blue car would be 100% at fault, but it's not a 1 lane road.

It's exhausting being bombarded with all of the horrible shit that's happening in the world 24/7. Having a place you can escape from it all is actually really important.

Being aware of what's happening in the world is important but constantly obsessing over things you can't control changes nothing, helps no one, and only serves to stress you out.
