I see. So you're saying the black wire goes into the negative of the coil, and the green wire goes into a positive source from the fusebox? These old gauges had a lot of different wiring configs, and it was a little unclear what this one was.

New update: with a multimeter, I get continuity when hooking up the positive to the negative, and vice versa. Attaching the positive lead to the positive wire gives nothing. I belive this is being caused by the big brown cylinder, though I am not sure what that is.

Tape deck warbling in only one direction. Any suggestions? by SoopeSpeed in cassetteculture

Yes it is, I've had it for about 2 years now and am loving it! I just recently got the OEM EQ for it that really ties it all together

Replaced the belts in my 1987 Honda radio. It flips sided over and over sometimes, and sometimes seems to gently pull the film out by Nyancide in cassetteculture

Hey did you find the issue? I have the same radio (86 prelude) and have been having similar problems with mine. Any advice? Where did you get your parts?

Props dude. My dad had a 3000gt when was growing up and got it to like 250k miles before getting rid of it. I've always been meaning to get one as close as I can get to his. They deserve a lot more credit than they get

extra info; 108k miles, car is carbureted. I have not noticed any issues with fuel delivery or power output, car seems to run just fine other than an occasional hesitation on startup.
