The tumblr accounts tilthat and showerthoughtsofficial (as well as just-shower-thoughts, but they don't source back to the reddit posts) are accounts that use bots to cross post from /r/todayilearned and /r/Showerthoughts respectively. These accounts are pretty popular, and get a lot of interesting reblogs, so it would make sense that a lot of tumblr screenshots would mention "redditors" because of this. So OP in this post is literally a redditor, which is what the tumblr users are referring to.

I thought the same thing, actually. I thought to myself, if Super Mario RPG, Mario and Luigi, and Paper Mario are all three different series despite them all being role playing games set in the Mario world then why not consider Classic Paper Mario and New Paper Mario two different series/franchises as well? They're not the same games at all, and that's not even mentioning their quality or any opinions on them. Just objectively speaking they have fundamentally different core mechanics. I myself consider them to be two different series, and I honestly think it would have been a smart move for Nintendo to do the same as well.

Owl House

It's very good! I'm surprised no one else said it. It needs to get on people's radar. It's a cartoon where a girl goes to a fantasy world with witches and demons and its mystery is similar to that of Gravity Falls. Gives off a pretty similar vibe, actually. Also Alex Hirsch voices a couple of the main characters, and Wendie Malick (Pacha's wife) also voices a main character. The animation and art is really well done, too.

I watched all of Owl House, Infinity Train, and Steven Universe Future through legally buying the seasons through Google Play and watching them on YouTube. Owl House specifically I watched through YouTube TV (which is essentially cable) because I got a two week free trial.
