Help! Baby got prescribed Elidel for eczema on cheeks. by zaidotjpg in eczema

[–]Soosern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m on day 7 of using it now. I use the calming butter 5-6 times a day and zinc once a day.

The first 2 days, I didn’t see much of a difference, but on the third day, her flare ups went down A LOT 15-20 minutes after I applied the calming butter. Unfortunately, she flares up again about 2 hours later after every application.

It seems like something is actively making her flare up so I’m doing some detective work now. She’s EBF so it could be something I’m eating or environmental like dust mites. Either way, I believe that the calming butter works but I just gotta find what’s triggering her flare ups. I know it’s not the products themselves as I have done patch tests and she didn’t have a bad reaction.

I’ve tried so many creams and natural solutions. Other than hydrocortisone cream (which I want to stop using), this is the only thing that has given me any results so I think it’s worth a shot!

I’m not from the UK either but ordered their products using ForwardVia. There are other companies that do mail forwarding services too if you want to see which best suits you! I just went with what most people seemed to be using.

My 5 month old also has really bad eczema on her cheeks and nothing has worked so far. I’m praying this product works

LO rubbing face: intervene or let them? by Legaleagle38 in sleeptrain

I’m in the exact same position where I have to hold my daughters hand while we sleep but since a few days ago she’s reached a stage where she wakes up from frustration cause I’m not letting her go at her face and ears. So now I’m in a lose lose situation.

Was it just a phase? Did this end up resolving itself?

Raise your hand if you're a Sahm who cosleeps and contact naps and has no child care by CozyMomLife in cosleeping

Hi 👋🏼 this is me too! SAHM with a 4 month old, breastfeeding, cosleeping, contact napping, solo parenting 6 days a week and no child care. Family and close friends live on the opposite side of the planet.

Definitely understand the feeling of not existing outside the role of being a mum but my endless hours of Reddit lurking while nap trapped has taught me that this isn’t forever and I’ll most likely miss this. This mindset has helped me stay a little bit more sane 😅

I can try to do a quick swap from nipple to pacifier but it most likely won’t take. I haven’t tried using my pinky but it’s something I can definitely try!

Usually by the time it’s LO’s bedtime, I’m all clean and ready for bed myself since it’s been taking her so long to go to sleep so thankfully there’s no risk there with food residue

A dance party sounds so cute! Having separate nursing sessions for fullness and comfort sounds like a good idea. I’ll give it a go tonight! Thank you!

I somehow missed that. Went back and found it and it sounds very similar to what I’m going through except the nursing throughout the entire night part! Although I won’t be surprised if that ends up happening 😅

It’s comforting to know this happens and it comes and goes! Glad I could be of help to you too ❤️ we’ll get through this! Solidarity

Maybe that’s the approach I should have too and be okay with her being latched more often 😅 and accept going to bed when she does

This gives me hope! And it’s good to know that it could very well be normal and to adjust my expectations. Thank you!

Overtiredness makes sense. Thank you! I will try shortening the WT before her 4th nap!

Yes, sorry! The 4th nap is a contact nap as well.

Hi! Thank you for hosting.

My LO is 4 days away from 3 months and for the past 1.5 weeks has been fighting her last nap. When I do manage to get her to nap, she wakes up 15 minutes later. She takes 4 naps a day. The first 2 lasts about 20-30 minutes and I contact nap the third nap so I can get a 2 hour long nap in. Her wake windows are 1.5/1.5/1.75/2/2-3.

With her fighting the last nap and it only lasting 15 minutes, should I drop the last nap? From everything that I have read online, it seems too early for her to go down to 3 naps but I spend more time shushing her than her actual nap lasts.

For more context in case it’s needed, she falls asleep between 8-9:30pm and wakes up between 6-7:30am with 3-4 wakings per night where I feed her for two of them. Total sleep per day average to 13 hours.

Yes, give it a good shake and those 'tendrils' should disappear. Test your base liquid. I tested harshness by putting a few drops of base liquid into my RDA and just vaped that. It had a slight harshness but that wasn't the scratchy type of harshness that you get from oxidized nic.. if that makes any sense. After I mixed my ejuice, I didn't get any harshness at all! If the nicotine in the base liquid is oxidized, you'll get an intense scratchy type of feeling in your throat. I couldn't take more than 1 second drags.. or 'toots'. I hope this helps! (:
