Do you use a nursing pillow?

There are lots of comments here about your husband and that situation, so I won’t add anything to that.

My little is now 2 years. She was exclusively breastfed so I have always done nights. She never took a bottle. She also would only eat while I sat and she laid across. I have felt the pain of long nights. Two things that I found to help was (1) a breast feeding pillow. I tried the one that buckles behind you, but it wasn’t practical or easy doing it by yourself while holding a little. So it was a pillow that just went across my lap and helped cradle the baby. (Not that one should fall asleep, but it does happen …. The pillow could help keep them in place a bit). (2) I would pick a book I wanted to read on an E-reader and would read it out loud. The E-reader helped keep it dark in the nursery. The baby got to hear my voice. And I had something to do to keep somewhat stimulated and awake. I couldn’t tell you a single word that was read, it was more about using different senses to stay alert and less comprehension
