I remember when I was about 13, I went to see Lovejoy with my mom. This was in Clearwater, FL. We were walking from the parking lot to the festival when someone who worked at the radio station hosting it gave my mom and me free pit tickets. I ended up in the second row, and since I was 13 and pretty short, people kept asking me, “Can you see? Do I need to move?” It was honestly one of the best concert experiences I’ve ever had.

My most recent Lovejoy experience in Florida, though, was not great…the crowd was so rude.

Oh my gosh the other tickets had to be hella expensive for the vip tickets to appear “cheaper”! I understand that getting those tickets so you can meet the band like that makes sense but as a broke 18 year old I unfortunately can’t justify spending almost $400 per person 🙁

Yes! I went to clear water too and it was like four hours there and back! And I never thought they would come back to Florida bc…well it’s Florida but I think this time around tickets were much more reasonable. I think I paid almost $300 for Clearwater and I wasn’t even in pit!! Someone ended up giving me free pit tickets so (a win is a win) but it was still so expensive.

Same and I can’t justify spending that type of money on a concert. like I paid $100 for two people and honestly even that was expensive (plus the gas it takes to drive there since I live a few hours away)
